The legal battle over Friday the 13th has been a long one, but it looks like it may actually be over. Friday the 13th 3 actor and entertainment lawyer Larry Zerner has been keeping fans posted as the battle over the rights to the classic has raged between Sean Cunningham/Horror Inc. and writer Victor Miller. According to Zerner, Cunningham failed to file a petition and that the rights belong to Miller. https://twitter.com/Zernerlaw/status/1476345331352674308?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1476345331352674308%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fbloody-disgusting.com%2Fmovie%2F3697450%2Fbreaking-friday-13th-case-allegedly-officially-victor-miller-owns-screenplay%2F https://twitter.com/Zernerlaw/status/1476345334565523457?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1476345334565523457%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fbloody-disgusting.com%2Fmovie%2F3697450%2Fbreaking-friday-13th-case-allegedly-officially-victor-miller-owns-screenplay%2F So, what does that mean for the classic and the franchise? According to Zerner, unless the two come to an arrangement, we won’t likely see Jason again for a while. But do we really need to? Do we really need another reboot or crappy sequel? Miller could allow a studio to make a remake or reboot but Cunningham can’t make another Jason Vorhees movie without Miller’s permission and after the legal battle, that’s probably not going to happen. Be sure to check out our interview with Vic

This pandemic won’t last forever, and when it’s over you’ll be sure as pumpkin spice and candy corn that there will be awesome Halloween parties again! So how can you stand out at these parties? Well maybe add some “WOW” to your costume with a mask from Mask Frenzy! I have to give a big shout-out to the cool folks at Mask Frenzy for making this review possible! What makes their masks unique if you have not already guessed is the use of El Cold Light technology (an LED light that looks like neon light strips), which highlights features of the mask and makes them pop! The masks I got are the Jason Voorhees and the Purge (in red). I’m sure the origins of the masks need no introduction but for the sake of decency here’s a quick refresher. The famed hockey mask belongs to the behemoth machete-wielding killer Jason from the “Friday the 13th” films after he ditched the
