Largest Cast Of Horror Icons Ever Assembled Star In ‘Death House’ – Now On Netflix

The largest cast of genre icons ever assembled star in Harrison B. Smith‘s unique, gore-filled film Death House (review), which has just arrived on Netflix. Originally, the script for Death House was penned by Texas Chainsaw Massacre actor and genre icon Gunnar Hansen. Smith rewrote the script, keeping Hansen’s vision intact. Smith even got Hansen’s approval on the script just before Hansen passed away. In the film, Agents Toria Boon and Jae Novak have their own dark pasts, arriving at Death House to tour its levels and observe its denizens first hand as well as the medical and mental experiments of Drs. Eileen Fletcher and Karen Redmane whose depraved experiments date back to the Nazi doctors of World War II. Prison cells are virtual reality holodecks that recreate prisoner environments before they were incarcerated. A special hallucinogenic gas keeps inmates under control. All Hell literally breaks loose inside the facility when an EMP device detonates, killing all power and communication,

Blu-ray Review: The Critters Collection (1986 – 1992)

Man oh man I love me some Critters…well the first film anyway. To be truthful, I loved the sequel as well, but only ended up seeing it once or twice, and the third and fourth pics? Well, I know I saw them at some point, but I remember fuck-all about them…but that first film; my lord I must have watched that fifty times in the late eighties alone! So, since it’s obviously waaaay past time for a re-visit to the frightful franchise, and since those delicious devils at Scream Factory have just put out a new Blu-ray collection featuring all for films, we begin my latest revoltin’ review for these hallowed haunted halls! To the surprise of no one we begin with: Critters (1986): A group of intergalactic convicts, who resemble the offspring of Fizzgig mating with a porcupine (and we both know that lil’ bastard totally would too), escape a prison asteroid and land near the farm of young

Captain Spaulding Isn’t The Only One Clowning Around In Zombie’s ‘Three From Hell’

In Rob Zombie’s 2003 film House of 1,000 Corpses, we were introduced to the Firefly family, Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie), Otis (Bill Moseley), Tiny (Matthew McGrory), Mother (Karen Black), and Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig). In 2005 the family was back to continue its reign of terror. Captain Spaulding became an iconic representation of bad clowns. Now, Zombie’s new film Three From Hell will arrive next year. A new image from the film has surfaced revealing Spaulding won’t be the only clown this time around. Zombie shared the image via social media with the question, “Who is this fucking clown?” We may not know a lot of the details about the character Mr. Baggy Britches, which is a twist on the classic sad clown, but we do know who is playing the role; it’s acting veteran Clint Howard. Howard has starred in over 250 films, many of them being horror films such as Night Shift, Silent Night, Deadly Night 5, Ticks,

DVD Review: Death House (2017)

Agents Toria Boon (Cortney Palm) and Jae Novak (Cody Longo) partake in a virtual tour of a high tech prison named the Death House; an underground facility where prisoners are reformed via the use of holograms that let prisoners experience their past crimes again and again (using homeless folks for victims) for scientific study. Before long an EMP device detonates, and cuts power to the prison…and releases all of the homicidal maniacs within who follow the orders of Satanic Neo-Nazi Sieg (Kane Hodder)…who isn’t so fond of Boon. The agents flee ever further into the dark depths of that hellish prison where they must appeal for a boon from The Five Evils; the meanest supernatural son of a bitches to ever stride upon the Earth! The very first thing you will notice about Death House is the absolutely bat-shit insane amount of horror biz luminaries who appear on screen. along with the aforementioned Hodder (who really gets into his role
