Austrian Spencer’s ‘The Sadeiest’ Will Change You – Book Review

Plot Austrian Spencer attacks his plot head on and it is powerful. This book really is unlike any other book I have read, it is strange, unique, gritty, difficult, beautiful, and phenomenal. Obviously a book about death is not a new concept, but the way that Spencer builds his story around this topic is where the uniqueness sits. I have often found (and enjoyed) authors using common horror tropes and putting their own spins on accepted mythologies, but this novel does so much more. It made me think not only about death, but about the inevitability, pain, variety, and reality of HOW death happens…and what comes next. This book digs deep into what death is and what happens surrounding this universally shared experience. Characters Much like with his plot, Spencer avoids using stock or stereotypical characters. Each character is strong and realistic. There are no filler characters. It must have been absolutely painstaking to fully flush out each character’s story,

Beautiful And Haunting: Game Review ‘Mundaun’

Hidden Fields and MWM Interactive were awesome enough to allow me the chance to check out their unique horror tale set in the Swiss Alps, Mundaun. The game follows a young man returning to the village of Mundaun where he grew up after receiving news that his grandfather died where shortly afterward the grandson soon discovers that there’s more to the story and a threat from the past awaits. Now onto Mundaun itself. The controls are very easy to master and not over thought out. The game handles well from its default settings so players are able to just start the game and go without any tweaking. When it comes to sound, finally, a game that does it right! The ambient sounds are not ridiculously loud or clearly on a loop but actually sound like how I would imagine it would be in the Alps, I’ll admit, I like it at one part in the story when you’re inside the

‘Gothic’ Remake To Have Microtransactions

Sorry Gothic fans, THQ’s remake will be committing gaming sin by adding MTX into the upcoming game. Gothic will be introducing the “G-Store” in the game where players spend G-Coins to purchase cosmetics, stronger weapons, creature-type-damage focus enhancers, XP boosters, skill resets, and pets. Players can earn coins one of two ways; watching Gothic live streams, for each hour watching the Gothic Remake in a stream, registered users will be rewarded with G-Coins, and buying coins with real money. Reinhard Pollice, Studio Head at Alkimia Interactive & Business and Development Director at THQ Nordic had this to say -we did a representative survey in our financial department and 100% of the people agreed, that this is a fantastic idea!” Just like how it worked for, Red Dead Online, Star Wars Battlefront II, Evolve, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Call of Duty WWII, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Dead Space 3, and anyone else you the reader

Halloween Is Eternal With The Halloween Shirt Company!

You know us and we know you the reader and we all agree, Halloween does not come once a year, it’s all the time, it’s in our blood, it’s a lifestyle, and according to The Halloween Shirt Company, it’s Eternal, I can’t agree more and you can prove this is true with their products! I want to give a big thank you to The Halloween Shirt Company for making this review possible! The first thing about the shirts, I love is the art! The retro look that calls back to the old pulp magazines, the color choices used for the art encapsulates the colors of the Halloween season and even (for me anyway) wakes up a feeling of nostalgia of when October was all about Halloween and stores did not have Christmas decorations out yet. The shirts themselves are comfortable and the silk screening is good quality and looks like it’s made to last! I also like that the shirts
