Movie Review: The Bray Road Beast (2018)

Documentarian of the Cryptids Seth Breedlove is back, and this time he turns his eerie eyeballs an a wicked werewolf legend in The Bray Road Beast! Elkhorn, Wisconsin is a bucolic lil’ town, sleepy, possessed of a small populace…and a red eyed werewolf that can run 55 mph and lives on Bray Road (home to the Bray family, who do not seem like werewolves to me, but I’m no expert at lycanthrope in human form identification)…you know, the usual. Of course as the film digs deeper we learn that this area sits in an area surrounded by strange happenings, outre cults, and that whole Slenderman stabbing incident of a few years back. Of course everyone has a theory as to just what the titular beast is, and all the usual explanations make their appearance; Native american curse, occult summoned hell beast, the aforementioned werewolf theory…regardless of what it is, there are plenty of spooky-ass stories about whatever it is; and

‘The Beast of Bray Road’ Documentary Unleashed This October

Around the world tales of bizarre, wolflike creatures have been told for centuries. Everyone has heard stories about werewolves, but In 1992 the worldwide phenomenon came to the forefront in the United States when residents of Elkhorn, a small town in Wisconsin, began encountering a “Werewolf” on a rural road just outside of town. Those unlucky enough to see the “beast of Bray Road” for themselves were left forever changed by the ordeal. The story quickly gained national attention. The regional media flocked to the area as monster hunters descended on the tiny hamlet. Before long, sightings of similar figures were erupting all across the Midwest. Nearly three decades later, Small Town Monsters investigates the story of the Beast of Bray Road… and it’s hidden history. As recently as last week, a major news item about the discovery of an unidentifiable dog-like creature shot and killed in rural Montana went viral. However, similar strange beasts have stalked the prairies and

New Documentary To Explore The Legendary Werewolf Of Cannock Chase

If there is one thing I love as much as horror movies, it’s horror documentaries. One topic in horror documentaries that seems to be lacking is that of werewolves, but UK paranormal investigator Damon Simms is aiming to add a film on that very subject. Simms writes a column for the Stoke Sentinel titled ‘Supernatural Staffordshire’. When he is not writing he spends much of his time researching the unexplained mysteries and the myths that revolve around the area. One of the most interesting cases is that of the “Werewolf of Cannock Chase’, a creature that has had countless sighting in the county. Simms’ research on the werewolf is traced back the year 1975. That year a boy in the town of Eccleshall claimed that he used a Ouija board to strike a deal with the devil to change him into a werewolf. Soon after, the boy began to act strangely. He began acting like a wild animal and even
