Iconic Genre Magazine Film Threat Lives on With New Distribution Label

If you are like me, you studied the pages of Film Threat magazine in the ’90’s, dreaming of all of the exciting new indy projects that most likely would not be coming to a theater near me. Well, good news; Film Threat has returned (I mean they’ve had a website for years…but you get what I’m laying down) with a new distribution label announced at this year’s SDCC titled…better sit down for this shocker…Film Threat Presents! #SDCC Evil Dead 4′ Still Could Happen! Ash VS Evil Dead’ To Talk Army Of Darkness’

Evil Dead 4′ isn’t dead! During SDCC (San Diego Comic Con) at one of the press panels, executive producer Rob Tapert teased Evil Dead 4′ could still happen as he’s quoted saying “Nothing’s off the table, we’re thinking about what that could be, and who that would please. Now Bruce [Campbell] and I are going, ‘Well, there’s a possibility of a movie here.’ So there could be one. Anyways, we’ll see what happens.” How exciting is this news?! I love Evil Dead! But I also love Ash VS Evil Dead. Now I’m wondering if the TV series has to end before Evil Dead 4′ sees light of day? Anyway, as we all know Ash VS Evil Dead never actually referenced any other films from the Evil Dead trilogy other than Evil Dead 1&2.

A Look At Season 5 Of ‘Grimm’

The ‘Grimm’ San Diego Comic-Con panel answered some of the lingering questions from Season 4 and gave fans (Grimmsters) a look at what’s to come in season 5. Nick lost so much in season 4, his mother was murdered by the royals and her head left in a box for Nick to find, his fiancee Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) went bad after becoming a Hexenbiest and in the finale was killed by Trubel Jacqueline Toboni), the Grimm Nick took under his wing. Nick also learned that he was going to be a father due to that single twisted encounter with Adalind (Claire Coffee), an enemy and Hexenbiest. Officer Wu (Reggie Lee) discovered that Nick is a Grimm, luckily he adjusted well and joined the team. Police Captain Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz) was left, hopefully, banished of his demon. In Season 5 we will see Nick and Adalind try to learn to co-parent. Wu will become a bigger part of the team.
