Movie Review: Cry Havoc (2020)

A small potatoes TV reporter type named Ellen Weaver (Emily Sweet), thinks she has just what the demonic doctor ordered to give her career a much needed shot in the ass; namely a chit-chat with serial killer The Voyeur (Richard Tyson), who has been laying low due to his bum-bum ending up on the FBI’s Most Wanted list! Long story short, ol’ Big V has set himself up a real ring-ding racket where he intends to let folks attempt to survive the monstrous machinations of his own pet slasher, Havoc (J.D. Angstadt)… a psycho in a creep-ass mask who is really good at makin’ people extinct… and Ellen discovers she is going to be one of those mother fuckers balls deep in the Save-Ass biz! Enter: a tortured police detective (Robert ‘Bronzi’ Kovacs) who has never healed from a falling out with his daughter (Spring Inés Pena)… a daughter that has vanished, but lo and behold she has been traced

DVD Review: The Punished (2018)

Wolfgang (Robert Amstler) is an Austrian mercenary murder machine; a real bad cat who you surely would not want to cross paths with. But as nasty a customer as he is, Wolfgang has an emotional side that comes to the fore as he befriends a sick orphan girl named Maria (Leia Perez) while convalescing in the hospital after receiving some war wounds during an assignment, and becomes the father figure in her life, as well as growing close to the comely local tour guide, Lisa (Nicole Stark), he hires to help plan good times for his pint-sized charge. Of course our “hero” continues carving folks a new asshole for those sweet greenbacks…but soon he must decide between his career and protecting the innocents that need him most. Brought to life by Writer/Director Rene Perez (of Death Kiss fame…which I reviewed right here), The Punished is another fun throwback to cinema the likes of which would fill the shelves in the

Movie Review: Obsidian Curse (2016)

Party girl/junkie Blair (Karin Brauns) is sent to the big house for a year after being arrested while snorting coke off from a woman’s stomach, as one does. After being released from prison, she’s clean and sober, but she discovers her boyfriend Roberto has moved on and gotten married, and worse still…his new beau is her daughter’s new mother figure…and Blair’s time with her daughter is extremely limited and court supervised until she can find steady work…which will prove difficult with that prison record and all. Eventually Blair finds work as a tour guide in a large cavern…at least that’s what she thinks. In actuality she is lured to the cavern so an ancient witch can pawn off a curse on Blair and make her a magnet for all of the evil monsters in the world…of which there are a surprising number. Now she is in for the fight of her life to survive the ever attacking nightmare legions which

Movie Review: Death Kiss (2018)

A well-dressed Stranger (Robert ‘Bronzi’ Kovacs) wanders the mean streets, ventilating those that plague society with their evil ways. He also acts a modern day Robin Hood as he takes the ill-gotten gains of those he dispatches and provides for a young woman and her crippled child by anonymously leaving fat stacks of cash in their mail box to ease his troubled mind. Soon our dour hero has a run in with a real shit heel named Tyrell (Richard Tyson), the meanest son of a bitch to ever stride the Earth, which leaves a fire for revenge burning deep in his coal-black heart. Soon the Stranger is in for the fight of his life and the death toll will be rather large as vengeance has it’s day! I’m just going to lead off with this; Writer/Director Rene Perez is a mother fucking genius! What he has created with Death Kiss is simply the greatest Cannon film never made! Bullets fly,

Movie Rips Off Leatherface Title – Don’t Be Fooled

Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ prequel ‘Leatherface‘. Some fans might believe that it was just released on DVD in UK, but it hasn’t. A film has just been released titled ‘Leatherface’, but it is an impostor. The knockoff, directed by Rene Perez, would like for you to believe that it is actually part of the ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’, but in reality it is not. On the poster stands a man with a chainsaw and stitched together mask, the tag line “The Legend Lives On…” written at the bottom. Hmmm, I wonder where they got that idea (sarcasm)? The Synopsis for the movie goes like this: Four wannabe actors take part in a horrifying reality show in which a serial killer stalks them in a remote cabin and their reactions are filmed for TV. The survivor of the week is promised $1 million and the starring role in their very own horror film. The only
