Dracula Party Release Their Latest Video; “HACK-O-LANTERN”

We talk about those rascally ravenous Fang-bangers Dracula Party a lot ’round these parts, but this time the talk hits close to our haunted home as I, your beloved Dan XIII (under my other persona of Dan Wilder), have directed the video for the band’s soon-to-be-classic tune; HACK-O-LANTERN from their new album, VIDEO WASTELAND! I combined my love of ultra-sleazy S.O.V. horror, KISS MEETS THE PHANTOM OF THE PARK, and pure ’80s Satanic Panic ghoulness to bring the song to visual life… and I couldn’t be prouder of the results! Just click on the video below and prepare to have your putrid peepers peeled like ghastly grapes! And when you’re done with that, be sure to check out the other recently released videos for both the album’s title track, as well as for the terror tune MONSTER DOG!

Fans the world over can rejoice today as the brand new, full-length offering from Slashercore icons, Ice Nine Kills is unearthed from its horrific, blood-soaked resting place. The highly-anticipated new album, ‘The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood‘ is out now via Fearless Records. Welcome to Horrorwood carves out a fresh, bloody homage to the VHS celluloid classics that possessed singer and driving creative force, Spencer Charnas at an early age, with a devilish new twist. Speaking on his band’s latest slab of horrifying brutality, Charnas states, “True to horror franchise tradition, there is always a sequel! Our new album, ‘Welcome To Horrorwood’, follows in the bloody footsteps of its predecessor, paying tribute to some of the most gruesome tales to ever grace

WARRIOR PATH brings us THE MAD KING

Two years have passed since the self-titled debut of Warrior Path that hit the world’s Underground Metal scene like the Hammer of Thor, getting everything from raving reviews to scoring the highest ranks on various “Album Of The Year” lists. Continuing their journey, main-man and songwriter Andreas Sinanoglou and musician/producer Bob Katsionis (Firewind/Outloud/Serious Black) along with drummer Dave Rundle, are coming back with another epic tale, the tale of “The Mad King”. This time they are joined by one of the most legendary singers in the history of Power Metal, Swedish vocal phenomenon Daniel Heiman (Lost Horizon) taking the torch from Yannis Papadopoulos (Beast In Black). Musically, the band seems to have evolved in all aspects, leaving the obvious influences and forging their own sound: The excessive number of ballads of the debut gave its place to furious songs, the Iron Maiden-ish twin harmonies became epic metal riffs, while the production itself is “warmer” and even louder and punchier than

METAL! Greek headbangers, Silent Winter, release new track

METAL! METAL! AND MORE METAL! Born of Greece, metal band Silent Winter have been playing together since 1995. Their members include Kiriakos Balanos on guitars and keys, John Antonopoulos on drums, Mike Livas on vocals, Vaggelis Papadimitriou on guitar, and Vaggelis Tsekouras on bass. I would describe them as progressive metal with hints of influence from Dio and Iron Maiden. The new track is called Gates Of Fire. It is a rally song of battle seemingly a retelling of the Battle of Thermopylae within the Persian Wars. Silent Winter is face melting metal and their new single leaves no face safe. Check out the lyrics video here. The Greek power-metallers from Thessaly, Silent Winter, released the first lyric video from their long-awaited upcoming new album “Empire of Sins” for the track “Gates of Fire”. The video was created by Harry Kountouris, who was also responsible for the equally excellent video for the song “Nightfall”, which Silent Winter released a year

Dissonance plus Melodywhore for new track

It is as if I were getting a lap dance by a cyborg stripper in a vampire nightclub at the end of the world. These are my first thoughts after pressing play and letting the industrial bass of the new collaboration from Dissonance and Melodywhore take me away. They call the new single, Damage 1st Assault. Haunting from the very beginning. Damage 1st Assault delivers complex waves of deep synth that is sure to fuel your darkest nature. Cat Hall of Dissonance first met Melodywhore after being a guest on his radio show. STORY OF DAMAGE: “I Met MELODYWHORE when I was featured on his radio show RADIO DARK TUNNEL SITUATION 47 (co-hosted by the incredible SAPPHIRA VEE). I mentioned I had been pining to work on some more aggressive tracks and this was the result. We liked the original- “Damage 1st Assault” so much that we did a second version. Damage 2nd Assault will be released by MELODYWHORE a

LOOK ALIVE, BLACK PISTOL FIRE DROPS NEW FULL LENGTH

Putting on my headphones and pressing play on the new album from Austin-based Black Pistol Fire was like taking a wrong turn down a dark New Orleans alley and happening upon an after-hours blood-orgy. Not where I expected to end up but I am damn glad that I am here. If you have never had the pleasure of hearing the rock duo before let me paint a picture for you. Just imagine Caleb Followill, Jack White, and Satan all jerked off into the same sock, then an absinth addicted mad scientist found this sock, extracted the DNA, took it back to his lab, and grew it into two beautiful rock n roll babies. That’s the easiest way I can explain it. Austin based and Toronto born Black Pistol Fire consists of life-long friends Kevin McKeown (vocalist/guitarist) and Eric Owen (drummer/bass synth player). After meeting in kindergarten, the two friends decided to battle life side by side using the greatest weapon

“Helter Skelter” Film ‘The Other Side Of Madness’ Being Rereleased For 50th Anniversary

The Film Detective (TFD), a classic media streaming network and film archive that restores and distributes classic films for today’s cord-cutters, announces the restoration and re-release of the first and one of the most sensational accounts of the vicious “Helter Skelter” murders, The Other Side of Madness (1971), the inaugural title in a series of TFD releases from The Wade Williams Collection. Available on limited-edition Blu-ray or DVD Nov. 10—marking the 50th anniversary of its original release—The Other Side of Madness was the first cinematic depiction of the Manson murders, filmed so astonishingly close to the time of the events that the Manson trial was still in progress. Portrayed as a modern “noir,” it proved so shocking to audiences at the time that the film was banned in Los Angeles. Superbly photographed and directed by award-winning filmmaker Frank Howard and produced by Wade Williams, the film was partially shot in Kansas City with a cast of mostly unknown actors. However,
