Two Teens Discover The Horrors Of A Religious Retreat In The ‘Children Of Sin’ Trailer

CWM Entertainment has unveiled the new trailer for the terrifying new independent horror film, Children of Sin, from writer-director Christopher Wesley Moore who also brought you A Stranger Among the Living, Triggered, and Blessed Are the Children. The film follows Emma, a pregnant teenager, and Jackson, her gay brother, who are sent to Abraham House – a secluded religious retreat for young adults – by their abusive stepfather to rid them of their sinning ways. Soon, they start to suspect that Abraham House has a more sinister way of cleansing their souls than they could have ever imagined. For Abraham House has a motto – if you don’t leave a different person, you won’t be leaving at all. Children of Sin stars Meredith Mohler (Triggered), Lewis Hines (Boots and Trenches), and Jo Ann Robinson (Scalps). The film is currently in post-production and will be released in 2022.

Movie Review: A Stranger Among the Living

Henry (Jake Milton) would rather spend his time in the limelight than enriching young minds. To that end, he plays hooky from work to go on an audition an inadvertently initiates Operation: Save Ass as a student goes hog wild shooting up the school. Soon, ol’ Hank makes like Haley Joel circa ’99 and seeing dead folk everywhere. This leads to a bit of the soul searchin’ bag as our hero has to deal with the voices of the dead and the worth of pursuing his desires… oh, and those ghost-toasties are quite miffed because our “hero” knew the shooter was a bit “off”, but never alerted anyone. Smooth move Ex-lax. A Stranger Among the Living is not your average ghost story boils n’ ghouls. Rather, what we get from writer/director Chris Moore is an atmospheric, Twilight Zone style slow burn (at times this works against the film as explained below) that teaches us that people can be haunted as

Movie Review: Triggered (2018)

Annoying, pain in the ass Callie (Meredith Mohler) is an obnoxious social justice warrior who spends her life reporting the supposedly offensive actions of her fellow students in spectacularly over-the-top fashion. Things are going swimmingly for her quest to find the ultimate level of butt hurt when a legendary serial killer returns and picks up the murder biz he started years previous. This chaps Callie’s ass big time as now the town is more concerned about being slaughtered and becoming real victims rather than the one she pretends to be every minute of the day. Speaking of pretending, Callie, along with her pal Ian (Jesse Dalton) devise a plan to fake an attack by the maniac (after Callie accidentally kills a fellow student) to put the spotlight back on our long suffering heroine. This of course goes over about as well as a fart on a submarine and our slice n’ dice antagonist targets that annoying bitch…err, I mean Callie
