Evil Has Found Its Superhero In The Final Trailer For ‘Brightburn’

The final, terror-filled trailer has landed for James Gunn’s Brightburn ahead of its May release, giving us a glimpse at the damage an evil superhero could do. What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister? In this horror-centered take on the superhero trope, a couple (Elizabeth Banks and David Denman) adopt a baby from another world. They raise the boy (Jackson A. Dunn) to use his powers for good, but an evil begins to grow within him. Written by James Gunn and Mark Gunn, Brightburn takes over theaters on May 24, 2019. Be sure to check out our interview with Tim Williams, the composer behind the film’s soundtrack.
