Movie Review: Charlie Says

Let’s face it, there have been a lot of films based on real serial killers over the past couple of years. On killer seems to be more popular than others, Charles Manson. Maybe it’s because his and his “family’s” is the most intriguing case. Director Mary Harron set out to tell the Manson Family’s tale from a unique angle in Charlie Says. The film centers on Leslie Van Houten (Hannah Murray) who joins the Manson Family, a path that turns her from an innocent girl into a convicted killer. Charles Manson (Matt Smith) sends her to commit the LaBianca murders. Van Houten, Susan Atkins (Marianne Redón), and Patricia Krenwinkel (Sosie Bacon). We watch as Leslie arrives at the Manson settlement. We get glimpses of her story first as she meets the Family, then in the form of flashbacks as the three women from the Manson Family sit in their cells or while talking about the events with Karlene Faith, a

‘The Haunting Of Sharon Tate’ Trailer Reveals Hilary Duff In Danger

Sharon Tate is featured in several upcoming films, including Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and another about Tate’s life, but the one we are here to talk about is Daniel Ferrand‘s controversial film The Haunting of Sharon Tate, starring Hilary Duff as the actress murdered by the Manson Family back in 1969. “The film takes a look at the last days leading up to Tate’s murder from her point of view. The plot is inspired by an actual quote from Tate, from an interview published a year before her death, wherein she reveals having dreams about ghosts haunting her house and foreseeing her own death at the hands of a satanic cult.” The Haunting of Sharon Tate also stars Jonathan Bennett, Lydia Hearst, Pawel Szajda, Ryan Cargill, Bella Popa, Fivel Stewart, and Tyler Johnson, with Ben Mellish playing the role of Charles Manson. We can expect to see the film open in theaters in early to mid-2019.

Charles Manson’s Ashes Used In Painting Made Of Blood

WARNING: SUBJECT MATER AND PICTURES MAY BE DISTURBING TO SOME Tattooist and Artist Ryan Almighty shook up the art world with his artistic creations that he makes with his own blood and caught the attention of many when his portrait of Edgar Allen Poe was put on display at the museum dedicated to the author. Since then Almighty has been busy with commissions. Almighty has recently turned a lot of heads with his latest and most controversial work yet, a portrait of the infamous cult leader Charles Manson, using his own blood mixed with some of the ash of Manson’s cremated remains! Almighty said he acquired the ashes from a friend of Jason Freeman (Manson’s grandson) who attended Manson’s funeral and was given some of the famed madman’s ashes under the condition that Almighty would give the friend the first of four portraits that are being made with the mixed ash and blood media. Freeman’s friend identified only as Tony,

Movie Review: House of Demons has Some Structural Damage…

A quartet of (mostly) drunk, bitchy, and until recently…estranged (thanks to a shared tragic car accident that left their chum a human vegetable), friends reunite in order to attend an old friend’s wedding. Because they are cheap as balls, they decide to stay in a remote country home together (instead of booking some rooms at the Ramada like normal fucking people would do). This being a fright flick this seems on the surface like a really aces idea, but of course a Charlie Manson like cult leader and his bonkers brethren used to live there…oh, and he carried out experiments to expand human consciousness. As they often do, the experiments blast from the past (and soon the cult do as well), and our assy antagonists are confronted with the darkest secrets of their soul (which leads to some great batshit visuals later in the film). Can they survive the machinations of the cult…and themselves? House of Demons gets major points

Charles Manson – The Man Who Thinks He is Both Christ and Satan

Monsters are real. Many articles have and will be written about mass murderers, serial killers, sociopaths and every other type of terror anyone can imagine. That being said, there are few monsters who come close to the topic of today’s article. This man brainwashed others to do, in his own words, Satan’s work. He was a beacon of evil for lost and damaged souls to latch onto and feel part of something. This monster gave his disciples purpose…the abominable purpose of Helter Skelter. Charles Manson was never convicted of murder himself, but he has spent nearly a lifetime in prison for composing one of the most publicised and vicious mass murders in modern history…and that is only a fraction of his reign of terror. The timing of this article coincides with Manson being admitted to a California hospital due to an undisclosed illness. Rumour is that Manson is suffering from gastrointestinal issues, but it is against federal and state law
