Developer Behind ‘Friday The 13th: The Game’ Is Back With ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’

Gun Interactive, the developer of the online horror multiplayer Friday The 13th: The Game is back with a new online multiplayer based on a classic horror slasher flick, this time involving everyone’s favorite inbred cannibal family with their chainsaw-wielding kin from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Gun Interactive is working alongside Sumo Nottingham to bring this 1974 classic to life for PC and next-gen consoles and promise that the game will be authentic to the film it’s based on. It’s no secret that the original The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is probably my favorite horror film ever created. Having the chance to really dive into the world of this IP with the team from Gun and working with Sumo to bring this vision to life has been almost surreal. I can’t wait for everyone to see more of what we’re doing.” says Creative Director Ronnie Hobbs.

Having A Drink In Style! Product Review For TOAST’s Pint Sleeves

Just because the holidays have passed does not mean you can’t spoil yourself or someone else with a treat or two. I was able to get the opportunity to try out a unique product that has me raising a glass…or two…or three… All jokes aside, meet the awesome folks at TOAST, they make handcrafted covers/cases for phones, laptops, and game systems out of wood or leather! When I say covers/cases out of wood, I mean REAL wood, cool right?! Don’t believe me? Norman Reedus has one of their covers for his iPhone 4 (made of walnut with a skull and crossbones design on it). I was lucky enough to be allowed to try out one of their products, a leather sleeve meant for a pint glass. The sleeve comes in a variety of colors (named after drinks), I got mine in “scotch” (brown), and if you want, you can have a design or text laser-etched on the leather, I chose

Blu-ray Review: Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Next Generation (1994)

Four teenage stereotypes; the horny popular dude, the mousy girly (played by Renée Zellweger of all people), the stoner, and the beautiful good girl head out on a drive after a prom night dust-up between good n’ horny (now available at our concession stand). As they tear ass around the Texas back roads they end up having an accident and seek help at a titty-flashin’ real estate agent’s office. The agent, Darla (Tonie Perensky) by name, calls her boyfriend Vilmer (I’m not going to tell you who plays him…alright, alright, alright, it’s Matthew McConaughey) to help out the troubled teens. Of course he’s a psycho (and a partially hydraulic powered one to boot), and soon our gang of goofs run afoul of ol’ Leatherface (Robert Jacks) and the rest of Vilmer’s crazed clan. Soon you’ll be wondering who will survive, and what will be left of them…or at least how some of the people involved had such huge careers after

A New Series And Much More In Development For Leatherface!

Last October Lionsgate unleashed Leatherface, a prequel to Tobe Hooper’s classic The Chainsaw Massacre. Now, news has come that a new series based on the original and more films for the franchise are now in the works over at Legendary Pictures. While that news is very exciting on its own, Bloody-Disgusting is speculating that a new shared universe may happen. How? Legendary is close to signing a new distribution deal with Warner Bros., who happens to be the parent company of New Line Cinema, who is over the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. While the rights to Friday the 13th are currently involved in a lawsuit, if nothing comes of it the rights will return to, you guessed it, New Line in 2019. That could possibly put Leatherface, Freddy, and Jason in the same vicinity. A show, more films, and a shared universe? Yes, please. Would you like to see more of Leatherface? We’ll let you know when we learn

Check Out These Awesome He-Man Style Horror Action Figures

Toy Fair has unveiled a number of exciting figures so far this year, but it’s He-Man stylized horror icons have to take the cake. With Jason, Freddy, and unfinished variants of Michael and Leatherface all receiving the Masters of the Universe treatment, these figures are a treat themselves to look at. Funko He-Man style HORROR!!! pic.twitter.com/xqsQAdXpKz — Daviad (@FakeEyes22) February 17, 2018 Each figure comes with stylized versions of their iconic weapons, articulation in the arms, necks, and legs, and enough small details to really make the characters pop. Jason’s chainlink belt is a personal favorite of mine. As of now there’s no release date beyond sometime later in 2018, bet you better believe I’ll be the first one in line.
