Master Of Horror John Carpenter Has Four New Shows In The Works

John Carpenter. has been behind so many horror classics, such as Halloween (1978), They Live (1988) and The Thing (1982), just to name a few. Now, he has four new unnamed television series in development. Carpenter’s wife, Sandy King Carpenter, recently appeared on an episode of the podcast Killer POV and revealed that the four shows were currently in development and that her husband will be writing the pilot episodes of the shows, as well as serving as executive producer for all four. Mrs. Carpenter will be producing along side her husband. “Right now there’s four series waiting to go to network. As far as I’m concered, we’ll do all of them. I mean, they’re great and they’re different from anything that’s out there, and they again push the boundries of what’s horror. Gunship’s Music Video ‘Tech Noir’ Narrated By John Carpenter

Master of horror John Carpenter serves as narrator for the UK band Gunship’s ‘Tech Noir’ video. The video was directed by Lee Hardcastle, who’s short ‘T is for Toilet’ appeared in the anthology film ‘The ABCs of Death’. JoBlo brought the video to my attention. The claymation video is filled with horror icons such a Pinhead (Hellraiser), Letherface (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) and Jason Vorhees (Friday the 13th) and obviously Carpenter’s own Micheal Myers (Halloween). The characters in the video can shift between horror characters by switching the VHS tapes in their chests. Besides the cool content, the music is really good. In fact, it’s the coolest music video I have seen in a long time. Guship’s self-titled album can be found on the music site Bandcamp.com .
