Remember when mother fuckin’ Hawkeye played (literal) man-eater Jeffrey Dahmer? Yeah, me freakin’ either… but he did, so here we are! The long and the short of Dahmer goes as follows: going out of his way to prove he’s no Willy fuckin’ Wonka, chocolate factory worker Jeffrey Dahmer (Jeremy Renner) prowls Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for young male victims to turn into brain dead (and eventually dead dead) sexual playthings. Along the way, he reminisces about earlier murder biz, and his relationship with his pappy (Willard himself, Bruce Davison) who thinks something is off about his boy, but isn’t sure just what. Todd MacFarlane’s Spawn Reboot Has A New Director

We all know that Spawn creator Todd MacFarlane has been working hard on a live-action reboot starring Jamie Foxx as Spawn and Jeremy Renner as Twitch. Today, news has come from MacFarlane himself that a new presently unnamed director has come aboard the project and is now finishing up on the script. Right now it’s being polished by another writer-director from the script that we handed him. MacFarlane told BeTerrific during an interview before continuing to say, “He’s supposed to be done with it here in a few weeks, and then once we sort of go back and forth and tighten it up a little bit, then we’re going into Hollywood and we’re gonna get a yes or no. Has Spawn Cast An Avenger As Twitch?

Jamie Foxx is set to star in writer-director Todd McFarlane‘s Spawn. Now, other casting news is slowly starting to trickle in. According to That Hashtag Show, Jeremy Renner has now been offered the role of Twitch Williams, the films’ other lead character. Twitch is described as “an honest detective who will team up with Spawn as he seeks vengeance for the murder of his young daughter.” This hasn’t been confirmed by Renner or McFarlane, but we’ll let you know when it is confirmed or if it’s denied. Renner, who plays Hawkeye in the Captain America and Avengers franchises, most recently starred in the comedy Tag which is now playing in theaters.

A Sequel For Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters

Paramount is moving forward with the sequel to 2013’s action-fantasy movie ‘Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters’. Both Jeremy Renner (The Avengers) and Gemma Arterton (The Voices) will be returning as the ass-kicking, witch-hunting brother and sister team, this time to take on an even bigger threat. Tracking Board has reported that acclaimed French photographer and director Bruno Aveillan will be at the sequel’s helm. Paramount went in search for a new writer to rewrite the present script, which was penned by Tommy Wirkola, and found Michael Finch (Agent 47). Beau Flynn will return as a producer, through Flynn Pictures Company, along side Will Ferrell, Kevin Messick and Adam McKay under the banner of their Gary Sanchez Productions company.
