The Haunting Indie Horror The Nursery Arrives On Digital And DVD

The indie horror film The Nursery (review) arrived on DVD this week, featuring exclusive content and extras, including feature-length audio commentary by the filmmakers and a behind-the-scenes “making of” featurette. Making a truly independent, micro-budget horror film so far from Hollywood has been an incredible journey,” The Nursery’s Executive Producers—Glenn Chung, Chris Micklos, and Jay Sapiro—said in a joint statement. As first-time filmmakers, we wanted our behind-the-scenes extras to take our fans behind the curtain and give them a sense not only of how we managed to navigate this journey ourselves, but also how they can do, too.” During our interview with directors Christopher Micklos and Jay Sapiro, the two filmmakers went into detail about how the film came to life and how each scene was personal. The Nursery is now available on DVD from Family Video, Amazon.com, and more. In addition, it is available for sale or rent on a broad range of video-on-demand platforms, including Amazon Instant Video,

Indie horror The Nursery is set to arrive on DVD this August with a ton of extras including insightful audio commentary by the filmmakers, a “making of” featurette, and more. To get a full-blown DVD release of The Nursery is incredibly exciting,” The Nursery’s Executive Producers—Glenn Chung, Chris Micklos, and Jay Sapiro—said in a joint statement. “We wanted to give our fans some fun and interesting extras that would get them behind the scenes of The Nursery and give them a sense of what this journey has been like for us as first-time filmmakers. Movie Review: The Nursery (2018)

College student Ranae (Madeline Conway), a bit of a bundle of damaged goods thanks to her losing her grip a tad due to her mother’s recent demise…she also just happens to be the lucky babysitter that gets to watch the infant child of a family with a tragic past. As fate would have it, she soon begins to have fevered nightmares, seeing strange beings in the surrounding woods, receiving terrifying photos on her phone, and witnessing horrific visions of the child in her care meeting it’s grizzly demise…and even the presence of her friends who arrive on the scene to check up on her helps abate this psychotronic tomfoolery…in fact they soon fall victim to it as well! Can Ranae manage to face her own demons and whatever the hell is haunting that god damned house and survive the night? The Nursery is a bit of a surprise honestly; I was expecting some sort of half-assed budget Conjuring clone…but instead
