They approached cautiously thinking it was some hooligan but soon recognized the smiling face. The statue of the Colonel has seen better days due to being left out in the elements. On the chest of the beloved American is a sign that says, “Watch out for children!”, obviously, a message for drivers to be wary of children who live in the area, but to someone out late at night, it seems like this creepy old man is warning you about the children! Legend Meets Real Life: The Kappa Of Kyuushuu And Kappa-dera

WARNING: Some subject matter may be disturbing to some readers. The Kappa is an adorable turtle-like creature with a Moe Howard haircut, big teddybear eyes, and rosy cheeks that make it just so darn cute that you want to pick it up and hug the daylights out of the little critter! This is all in part thanks to animes like Youkai Watch, How to raise a Kappa, and Summer days with Coo as well as little trinkets you can get from a vending machine. In reality, the Kappa is a creature of Japanese folklore that needs to be feared, why? Well for starters they can literally suck the life out of you…by way of your butt. The Kappa whose name in Japanese means “Water Child” is probably one of the most recognizable Yōkai (Japanese mythological creatures), a nymph/goblin-like creature who can be found in rivers and that’s said to be no bigger than a child but have tremendous strength. Possible Charges For ‘Dumbest Criminal’ Logan Paul

Logan Paul, disgraced YouTuber, overnight has-been, internet nobody, and now the “Dumbest Criminal” in Japan’s history. Earlier this month, Japanese police announced they wanted to talk to Paul in regards to the video of him and his friends filming the body of a suicide victim while joking about it. Though the original controversy surrounded him using the victim as a prop it turned out he used Japan as a whole as a prop for his vlogs and as a result, he’s possibly facing four misdemeanor charges mainly involving disturbing the peace and traffic violations. An ex-detective gave Paul the title of being the “dumbest criminal” because he willingly filmed himself breaking the law, you can see a “highlight reel” put together by Nextshark below. The Japanese criminal justice system is way different than the US’s; you’re guilty until proven innocent. Before you go “That’s barbaric and wrong!” here’s why, the Japanese police and Japanese society as a whole has a

Logan Paul Cut Off From YouTube & Google

YouTube and Google released a statement announcing that internet disgrace, Logan Paul, will no longer be associated with them and was removed from Google’s advertising tier Google Preferred. That means Paul will no longer receive ad revenue for his videos, in short, he won’t be making money on YouTube and Google anymore. To add more salt on the wound, YouTube Red will be halting shows and movies that Paul was involved with, including the sequel to the thriller The Thining, putting the production in jeopardy, maybe Christopher Plummer is available? The action taken by Paul’s former gravy trains was a result of relentless public outcry as well as outcries from other YouTubers over Paul’s video of him in Japan’s Aokigahara forest where he and his friends filmed the body of a suicide victim and proceeded to make jokes about it. Paul made a half-hearted apology after backlash which prompted even more backlash as the public saw through it resulting in

Logan Paul Has A New Problem, Japanese Police

The most hated man on the internet who “Dabs on Haters” can’t Dab his way out of this one. Police officials from Yamanashi prefecture want to speak with Logan Paul in relation to his disastrous click-bait video that shows him and his friends in Japan’s “Suicide Forest” where they found the remains of a victim of suicide and joke around while filming it. It’s unclear why the Police wish to speak with Logan since they’re declining to comment, in Japan whenever a suicide is involved. Though there have been many documentaries made in Japan’s Suicide Forest, Logan Paul’s is a first of its kind where the ones filming, visibly show disrespect and exploit the situation. A side note, contrary to popular belief Japan does not have the highest suicide rates in the world. According to data by the World Health Organization (WHO) that was updated in April 2017, based on suicides per 100,000 people a year, Japan is 26 on

Suicidal Social Media Users Stalked By Murderers

On Wednesday (Japan time), 28-year-old newspaper delivery man Kazunari Saito was arrested in Tokyo for the attempted murder of a suicidal teenage girl who he met online. According to Japan Times, Saito saw the girl’s tweet on Twitter expressing suicidal tendencies that prompted him to contact the girl and lure her to his residence with the promise he would end her life. After the girl arrived Tuesday, Saito strangled her with a string and left her for dead. The girl survived the attempt and escaped from Saito’s home and made contact with her father resulting in police arresting Saito who admitted to authorities that the girl “Wanted it.” This incident follows very closely on the heels of a familiar case that shook the nation back in October. On Halloween police in Zama, Kanagawa Prefecture were looking for a missing 23-year-old woman and ended up at an apartment owned by 27-year-old former supermarket worker Takahiro Shiraishi following events that came right

Logan Paul Uses Suicide Victim’s Corpse As A Prop For New Video

Youtube celebrity Logan Paul became the world’s most hated person two days into 2018. Paul ‘s claim to fame began with comedic Vine videos he made with his brother, Jake before the two moved to Youtube and became “Internet Famous”, a term often used to describe Youtube fame. Some of the following information may be considered disturbing. On December 31st, 2017, Paul posted a vlog (video blog) of him and his friends going to Aokigahara, Japan’s famed “Suicide Forest” where people often go to commit suicide in the dense forest. The vlog, as he reportedly stated in the video was to be a “funny vlog”, so going to a place known for mass suicides is the best choice (I’m being very facetious). While in the forest, Paul and crew came across the remains of a young man hanging from a tree. The face was blurred out but you can clearly see the body slumped against a tree. Paul who’s wearing

‘Ghost Ship’ And Dead Crew Wash Ashore

Sky News reported that over the weekend in Japan a derelict wooden vessel washed ashore on Sado-an Island in the Sea of Japan. Japanese Coast Guard and local Police discovered the skeletal remains of eight men on board. Authorities believe the men are North Korean after life-vests with Korean writing where found on board as well. The conclusion that the men were North Korean came due to rising tensions between North Korea and the United States and a famine that’s occurring inside the isolated dystopian country which leads to the conclusion that these eight lost souls were fishermen sailing out in unfamiliar waters in the Sea of Japan to fish, a trend among North Korean Fishermen over the past year. Last week eight fishermen who identified themselves as North Korean were found on board their boat that was drifting in the Sea of Japan, they had experienced a problem with their vessel which resulted in it becoming disabled. So far
