Artist Spotlight: Clay Disarray

There is an artist with a new take on our favorite horror movie posters. Lizzie aka Clay Disarray is a talented clay artist and illustrator based in the UK. For the past two years Lizzie has been working on an on going project devoted to her love of films in which she re-imagines movie posters with polymer clay and mixed media. “Although I take commissions for sculptures and other creative work, I really love working on personal projects as it allows me to be truly creative, and not limited by others’ ideas or expectations.” she continues “Horror and dark genre posters are definitely my favorite to work on. My interest in horror started at a young age back in the 1980’s. My older brother, being eight years older than me, was really into horror films, alothough I wasn’t allowed to watch them, I’d stare in wonder at his VHS collection and at the movie posters at the local video store,

Artist Spotlight: Sean Wilson AKA OddNMacabre

A few weeks ago I came across a fantastic piece of artwork on Twitter, I immediately followed @OddNMacabre (Sean Wilson) as the days passed and Sean tweeted more of his pieces I always found myself surprised and impressed. Not only are his fan pieces great, his original artwork is fantastic. His pieces are often dark yet vibrant, sometimes creepy, but beautiful. This fall a collection of his work, titles “The Fallen” will be released. Sean remains a bit of mystery and prefers to let his work speak for it’self. He did share with me that his artwork is mainly created digitally. You can see more examples of Sean’s work, order prints and request commissions by visiting his Twitter Page and by emailing him at [email protected].

An Interview With Horror Photographer Joshua Hoffine

Joshua Hoffine is one of the most prolific modern day horror photographers in the world, at least that’s my opinion. When he granted me an interview I had a serious fan girl moment. I love Horror and I love art, when you combine the two you get something amazing. About five years ago I came across a horror picture that was completely captivating, the title of the photo, “Hands”. A woman in a ball gown being pulled through the floor by a mass of hands. I had to know more about the artist. When I found Joshua Hoffine’s website, I was blown away. What I though was a painting was actually a photograph. Hoffine’s skill and talent are off the charts. He captures a scene and with a flair that is rare to find. ‘Hands’ KM “How old were you when you discovered your love for photography?” JH “I started making photographs shortly after graduating from college. I discovered a
