DVD Review: Dawning of the Dead (2017)

Dawning of the Dead (are you fucking serious with that title guys?!!) concerns the zombie apocalypse beginning through the spread of a man-made virus. The scientist responsible for said outbreak entrusts his test results to an ex-war correspondent turned news anchor (Katya by name) who holes up in the local TV station and views the end of the world as we know it via news feeds. Also in the mix are an assassin who aims to stop the test results from getting out (for reasons). Can Katya survive the killer and escape into a new world of hungry dead (would she even want to? I mean c’mon, I’d rather take my chances with an assassin hell bent on my destruction than a whole world of flesh hungry living corpses)… The first thing you’ll notice about Dawning of the Dead is it’s incredible sense of scope; especially for a lower budget indie zombie picture. The makers of this film show zombie

Movie Review: Cute Little Buggers is a Campy Sci-Fi Bloodbath!

Cute Little Buggers begins as any great culturally relevant piece of art would; namely with horny fish aliens (with British accents) flying down to Earth in their U.F.O. in an attempt to impregnate any human female they can possibly get their hands…err, flippers…fins…whatever…on. To achieve this they splice alien D.N.A. into the local rabbit population which causes them to become ultra violent mutant killing machines…you know something, is it possible to fall in love with a film…like real, human love…because I think that is happening to me right this very second… Moving on, we have the tale of a prodigal son returning to his bucolic hometown and rekindling a lost love as townsfolk begin being brutally slaughtered by those laceratin’ lepus. It basically becomes an all out fight for survival as the bunnies begin chewin’ folks a new asshole (and I mean that literally). First things first, Cute Little Buggers is a flick with it’s tongue very firmly in it’s
