Movie Review: Victor Crowley is the Best of the Hatchet Series!

Victor Crowley, the deformed and bullied child that grew up to be a monstrous, murder lovin’ madman (and ghost to boot), is back stalking and slaying in his bayou home ten years after the events of Adam Green’s cult slasher favorite Hatchet (2006). Now ol’ V.C. isn’t the only familiar face back on the scene as paramedic, and lone survivor of previous bloodbaths, Andrew has returned to tell his side of events (and promote his new book about the gruesome goings-on) on his ex-wife’s talk show. Before long, Andrew is offered an ass load of money to return to the swamp and record an interview for a national television show…so our hero, a camera crew, and that aforementioned ex-wife traipse right into the lion’s den (after a plane crash that is) because unbeknownst to them, a trio of aspiring film makers (hoping to shoot a fake trailer to raise the scratch to make a film about Crowley) have inadvertently resurrected

‘Victor Crowley’ Is Coming Home This February

Adam Green’s fourth installment of the Hatchet franchise, Victor Crowley, has an official release date and brand new poster. Both Kane Hodder and Parry Shen will reprise their roles with Laura Ortiz, Felissa Rose, Dave Sheridan and Brian Quinn co-starring. “In 2007, forty-nine people were brutally torn to pieces in Louisiana’s Honey Island Swamp. Over the past decade, lone survivor Andrew Yong’s claims that local legend Victor Crowley was responsible for the horrific massacre have been met with great controversy, but when a twist of fate puts him back at the scene of the tragedy, Crowley is mistakenly resurrected and Yong must face the bloodthirsty ghost from his past.” Victor Crowley will slash his way onto Blu-ray, DVD, and VOD on February 6, 2018, from Dark Sky.

We Have A Fourth ‘Hatchet’ Film!–Adam Green Drops A Bombshell At L.A. ‘Hatchet’ Screening

Last week we posted an article regarding Adam Green showing a free screening of the original Hatchet tonight at the Arclight Hollywood in LA. We mentioned that for Hatchet fans they’d better cancel their plans to attend. Well, we hope they took our advice and here’s why… It just so happened that I tuned in to Adam Green’s live Facebook feed during his presentation prior to screening the film, and he proceeded to drop a bombshell on the audience by recounting a story where the late George Romero encouraged him to keep the Hatchet franchise alive, and that the audience would not be seeing the original Hatchet film tonight, but instead they would be viewing a BRAND NEW HATCHET FILM! That’s right, tonight in L.A. Adam Green is premiering the 4th Hatchet film in the franchise, titled Victor Crowley. Green didn’t give many details about the film, other than it was filmed in secret over that last two years. He

Movie Review : Digging Up The Marrow (2014)

Adam Green, the man behind the ‘Hatchet’ franchise, has brought us ‘Digging Up The Marrow’. Green plays himself in this faux documentary about monsters. In ‘Digging Up The Marrow’, while filming a documentary about horror artists, Green is approached by a strange man with an even stranger story. William Dekker, is a man on a mission, he’s trying to find someone who can help him expose the truth, that monsters are real. Adam Green wrote and directed ‘Digging Up The Marrow’. Green, William Barratt, Josh Ethier, Rileah Vanderbilt, Kane Hodder, and most everyone in the film, play themselves, except for Ray Wise, who plays William Dekker. Wise also starred in many movies, including this year’s hottest supernatural movie ‘The Lazarus Effect’. The concept behind ‘Digging Up The Marrow’ was a fresh idea and a welcomed change from the same old movies ideas we see over and over. Green’s creativity truly showed with each monsters unique design. Ray Wise did a
