What Do Horror and Bingo Have in Common?

This might seem like an odd question, but it has been something I’ve been thinking about recently when it comes to how different media evolves. Horror is as old as time, where the arrival of mass media allowed it to flourish like never before. Bingo, while not as old as the concept of horror, has similarly succeeded by evolving. Taking a closer look at these arms of their respective industries, we want to explore the elements that these seemingly disparate ideas share. Adapting to Modern Technology In the most contemporary sense, the most obvious changes to horror and bingo have come from how they leverage technology. In the horror scene, this has been illustrated recently by the arrival of VR gaming. Horror has long leaned on the ability to draw people into horrific worlds, but with VR, a person can be placed directly within a horrific landscape. An experience too terrifying for some to be pleasurable, this step illustrates how

Horror Movie Bingo – It’s Actually a Thing

Horror is easily one of the most popular genres in film, with thousands of frightful movies made over the years. Scary themes tend to lend themselves well to franchises, and a lot of blockbuster horrors are carried on way beyond the original cinematic releases. In addition to those, smaller studios have released niche offerings that have gone straight to DVD. All things considered, there is a lot of content to draw from, meaning that horror bingo games are entirely plausible. Horror Movie Bingo is an original take on this idea. Bingo Is Breaking Out Everywhere The fact that there is now a bingo game for horror fans highlights how widespread the random ball draw has become online. Bingo has recently undergone a digital transformation, and its popularity has skyrocketed in a short space of time. This is thanks to online bingo sites that offer a much wider range of games than the bingo halls that preceded them. For instance, a
