Blair Witch Project was edited down to only 90 minutes. For genre fans and fans of The Blair Witch Project’s unused footage is kind of a holy grail. During an interview with the Found Footage Files podcast Eduardo Sánchez, co-creator of The Blair Witch Project and executive producer of the up coming Blair Witch sequel, revealed that he wants to use the unseen footage. In a couple of weeks I could probably that the original movie and edit a longer version. I know the fans are like ‘Everybody wants to see it’… it would be cool to do, honestly. I wouldn’t hesitate to do that if Lionsgate Films hired me. I think it would be a lot of fun.” Sánchez continued. “Start a petition…if I can get enough interest from the fans, I
