Movie Review: Dolls (2019)

Ol’ Robert (Thomas Downey) is having a bit of a tough go; he’s a struggling children’s book author who’s mother has bought the farm. Naturally he moves right on into Mommy Dearest’s home along with his ass-pain of a daughter, Sammy (Trinity Simpson). He’s also drunk off his ass a lot of the time, and his wife has left him. This is our hero folks… Anyway, Boob (that is a type-o I simply refuse to fix because this dude is a chump through and through) and Sam soon discover a trio of diabolical dolls that keep moving location around the house seemingly of their own accord. Soon (and by that I mean after a loooong fucking time…see below) the dolls get up to the devil’s business, but will you give a damn when they do? Japanese Website To Stream 5 ½ Days Of Haunted Dolls

New Years is either boring or fun, depending on what you’re doing. May it be standing at the snack table at a party eating cheese, say you’re going to party all night long just to be passed out drunk at 8 pm, or posting pictures of your dogs or cats wearing New Year’s hats. Either way, you’re stuck in the same cycle; let’s spice things up with creepy dolls. The Japanese website Niconico Live will be broadcasting a live stream titled “Gazing at Cursed Dolls for 132 Hours Broadcast” from January 1st to the 6th with cameras locked on one thing…dolls that are said to be haunted. Right now about seven dolls known to Japanese internet users are going to take center stage with others to be added to the lineup. The dolls range from traditional Japanese, typical western, and even mannequin heads used by those training to be hair stylists. One of these dolls is a traditional Ichimatsu doll

A Nun Doll Is Coming This Summer

Porcelain dolls are one of two things, meh, or creepy. The dolls over at Living Dead Dolls are deliberately made to be creepy, especially since their best sellers are based on iconic horror characters. MezcoToyz recently announced that coming this summer there will be a doll of the scary nun from The Conjuring 2, Annabelle Creation, and the upcoming film The Nun. The Nun is the manifestation of the demon Valak. Don’t worry, the doll is not as tall as the 5’8 nun, it’s only 10” (inches) tall and can be kept sealed in its box that doubles as a display case. The doll will be out in stores for you to buy in time for The Nun’s release in theatres this September. If you’re impatient to add this little-veiled terror to your collection, you can pre-order her here! If Valak is not your type there’s more to choose from!
