Blu-ray Review: Itsy Bitsy (2019): Dan XIII’s take!

Kara (Elizabeth Roberts) has a lot going for her… all of it bad. She is a former pill-popper, she killed one of her kids in a car accident, and her marriage has fallen to shit and back… so naturally Kara wants to get the hell out of dodge. To that end, she shoves her still-living brood, Jesse (Arman Darbo) and Cambria (Chloe Perrin0), into the car and moves cross country to take a position as caregiver to former treasure hunter Walter (Bruce Davison). Long story short; Walter owns an ancient artifact that contains a fucking huge spider that is tied to the spirit of a goddess, and that beastly bitch gets loose causing all manner of mayhem for our heroes… eventually. ‘Itsy Bitsy’ Crawling Its Way Onto Blu-ray And DVD

Following a successful theatrical release by Scream Factory, the critically acclaimed creature feature Itsy Bitsy is crawling onto Blu-ray and DVD this October! Based on the centuries-old poem known throughout the world, the film follows a family that moves into a secluded mansion and is soon targeted by an ancient entity taking the form of a giant spider. The film stars Academy Award nominee Bruce Davison (Insidious: The Last Key), Denise Crosby (Pet Sematary), Elizabeth Roberts (World’s End), and up-and-coming actress Chloe Perrin (ABC’s Single Parents). The creature was brought to life with the help of special effects master Dan Rebert (Slither, Showtime’s Stargate SG-1, HBO’s True Blood). ‘Itsy Bitsy’ Weaves A Terrifying Tale In Its First Trailer

The dark new trailer for Itsy Bitsy is here and it spins a terrifying web that genre fans are going to get caught up in. Writers Jason Alvino and Bryan Dick weave a dark tale of supernatural mystery in the film from director Micah Gallo (Hatchet) about a family who moves into a secluded mansion where they soon find themselves being targeted by an entity taking the form of a giant spider. Inspired by the centuries-old poem “The Itsy Bitsy Spider”, the film stars Eileen Dietz, Denise Crosby, Bruce Davison, Matty Cardarople, Treva Etienne, Elizabeth Roberts, Chloe Pernin, Arman Darbo, Grace Shen, and Doua Moua. Itsy Bitsy is to be released in 2018 following its successful Kickstarter campaign and is currently in post-production.
