Exorcist Rachel Stavis Talks To Us About Tubi’s Special “Celebrity Exorcism” & More

Ahead of the premiere of Tubi’s two-hour special Celebrity Exorcism, I sat down with independent exorcist and author Rachel Stavis who trained the Celebrity Exorcist‘s team ahead of their investigation. According to the Journal of Scientific Study of Religion, fifty-four percent of the US believe demons exist. Rachel Stavis is one of those believers, helping people plagued by the supernatural as an exorcist. Rachel sat down with us to discuss both Tubi’s Celebrity Exorcism special and her abilities which include the power to see entities, both supernatural and paranormal. Kelli McNeely: “Commonly when we think of exorcists we think of Catholic priests. Are you connected to the Catholic church?” Rachel Stavis: “No, I am not.” Kelli McNeely: “How did you go about becoming an exorcist, an independent exorcist?” Rachel Stavis: “When I was five I quickly realized that I saw things. I thought everyone did. I learned that other people didn’t have that and my mom taught me to hide

Movie Review: Attack of the Demons (2019)

In a serene mountain town down Colorado way in the early nineteen nineties, a Halloween-set music festival is interrupted by a demonic paranormal event… namely some devious devil makin’ the scene and turning revelers into full on monster mother fuckers via his spraying crimson issue! Meanwhile, re-united high school chums Natalie (Katie Maguire), Jeff (Andreas Peterson) and Kevin (Thomas Peterson), find their lil’ catch up sesh seriously interrupted by the aforementioned supernatural shenanigans. To that end, those cats decide to high-tail it to Jeff’s uncle’s pad; an abode fortified by some serious survivalist accoutrement… but alas that gear ultimately does jack fuck-all to slow the pace of that insidious invasion! As fate would have it, a demonologist named Stuart (August Sargenti) enters the picture and fills our heroes in on how to end this beastly bullshit… but can they actually pull it off before the whole wicked world falls victim to these arcane assholes?!! Possessing (pun intended) a style and

DVD Review: Hosts (2020)

Ahh, the ho-ho-holidays, a time of gift givin’, merry makin’, and eating tons of fucking food. Speaking of which, that is precisely what’s on the agenda for Jack (Neal Ward) and Lucy (Samantha Loxley); a sickeningly in-love young couple who are set to have a nice meal with their neighbors Michael (Frank Jakeman), Cassie (Jennifer K. Preston), and their offspring; Eric (Lee Hunter), Lauren (Nadia Lamin) and Ben (Buddy Skelton). There is a slight hiccup in the night’s plans however as our young heroes find themselves possessed by an unknown entity just before they head out for their dinner date… and let me tell you; these shiny-eyed psychopaths really, and I mean really know how to ruin a dinner party in spectacular fashion! Fucking hell; Hosts grabbed me by the beastly balls and dragged me through a world of suspense, shock, and supernatural shenanigans… and I loved every monstrous minute of it! Co-writers/co-directors Adam Leader and Richard Oakes have created

Demonic entities set their sights on a group of friends on an exotic holiday in writer-director Alexandre Carrière‘s supernatural horror Demons Inside Me. In the movie, “A group of rich playboys travel to Costa Rica to party, do drugs, and hook up with girls. Blu-ray Review: The Chill Factor (1993)

The Chill Factor kicks off as every great horror film should; with about eight hours of voice over exposition from an old lady (Barbara Claman doing her best Eileen Brennan) followed by people assing around on snowmobiles. Speaking of those sleds, they are piloted by our heroes; a gaggle of friends looking for some new snowmobile adventures…as are we all, amirite? At the local watering hole they learn of a nearby frozen lake they can try their hand at…this of course goes all fucky, and one of the goofs suffers a horrendous accident, forcing the group to seek shelter at a nearby abandoned camp. Once there they pass the time by using an insanely evil looking spirit board (it has an eyeball glued right onto the mother fucker…why would you even mess with that nasty shit?), having sex sessions that last exhausting seconds in length, and discovering the dark history of that demonic domicile…a history that’s about to intrude into

Game Review: ‘Mutant Football League: Dynasty Edition’

Football is one of the most popular sports in America, there’s just one problem…it’s slow, boring, and repetitive. Worse, the video games are the same! Well, Digital Dreams Entertainment & Nighthawk Interactive have made a game that makes the sport more exciting, “Mutant Football League: Dynasty Edition”. This game is now available both for digital download and in physical retail form for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC/STEAM, and Nintendo Switch. As the name implies, there are no human football players in this game, the rosters are full of the undead, aliens, robots, mutants, orcs, werewolves, and demons. Unlike football, after the whistle blows, the hits don’t stop! That’s right, players will fight after play and sometimes with deadly results and the players are not the only ones able to do the killing, the fields you play on are full of traps as well! In “Dynasty Edition” there’s a new game mode by the same name, it’s a management mode. In

The ghosts are not alone as there are also demons’ wandering around and there’s no way to protect you from them, besides not being found in the first place! Players will have to decide when and if they want to wrap up their investigations because the more evidence you collect and clues you find, the more ghost hunting equipment you can unlock and

Short Film Review: The Eyes That See in the Dark (2018)

Man-oh-man is ol’ Christina (Jessica Blaney) ever in some dire straits boils n’ ghouls! You see, it seems she’s inadvertently turned her body into a human AirBnB after a failed seance of sorts, and a dastardly demon has rented that shit out with the quickness! To try and remedy this, her mother (Maria C. Blaney) has called in a duo of holy men (Andrew Hunsicker and Gabriel Brandis) to try and get that sinister squatter to vamoose, but that goes over like a fart in a submarine and before long a second demon (Jeffrey Scott) makes the scene and things go from bad, to really fucking bad! The Eyes That See in the Dark is one hell (pun always intended) of a cool lil’ fright flick! It takes the tried and true exorcism trope, gives it a slight twist or two, and delivers a satisfying bite sized horror flick that will doubtless satisfy fans of the possession sub-genre. Praise must

‘The Conjuring House’ Lures Players Into A New World Of Horror Gaming

Rym Games is bringing a whole new level of terror to the Psychological Horror genre in gaming with “The Conjuring House” (no way related to the film series) that came out on September 25th. The developers wanted to take a different approach to tell the game’s story by not focusing so much on the violence and gore but having the players in a constant state of panic with the random unscripted encounters with the game’s antagonists. “The Conjuring House” will take players to a haunted house where from start to finish you’ll be in a constant state of panic as non-linear progression to the story will spell out unpredictable encounters with enemies while you look over your should constantly to avoid being discovered by the demonic entity of a woman with murderous intent! Players take on the role of the sole survivor of an investigative team sent to uncover what led to the death of the owner of the Atkinson
