Disney+ has unveiled the first trailer for their upcoming Marvel series “Moon Knight,” giving us our first look at the incredible action that awaits us. Dune star Oscar Isaac plays the role of Marc Spector, suffering from Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). After dying and being brought back to life by the ancient Egyptian god Khonshu he becomes Moon Knight. To hide his identity he creates the alter ego of high-roller and playboy Steven Grant. He also uses the identity of taxi driver Jake Lockley to obtain information from lower-level contacts. Moon Knight frequently goes head to head with the evil syndicate known as “The Committee” in the comics. Moon Knight was created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin and was introduced in the comic Werewolf by Night #32 in August of 1975, before getting his own comic in the early 80s. Prepare to Consume Rasputin’s Seed!

You all know of my insatiable love of both jizz and Russian history… but for the longest time I just couldn’t see how they could cum together… that was until I was able to slap my eerie eyeballs on the latest graphically embellished periodical about the insanely huge cock of that lovable wizard to the court of the Romanov dynasty; Rasputin’s Seed! Picture this; a young woman studying abroad happens to encounter the severed and preserved phallus of the aforementioned Big R. On the dare of a jilted lover, our heroine attempts to take a selfie with the member well in hand… but that demon dong has a monstrous mind all it’s own, and one bit o’ beastly bukkake later Rasputin is back on the scene and ready to cause all manner of shenanigans via his newly acquired avatar! As conjured forth from the aether by Andrew Saiger and Jason Keen (who also lettered and edited the terror tome) Rasputin’s

Comic Book Review: Attaboy (2021)

Artist extraordinaire Tony McMillen (creator of the horror effects biz/coming of age tale Serious Creatures that every, single one of you monster mother fuckers need on your beastly bookshelves right away) is getting ready to launch a Kickstarter campaign to get his latest creation, the ’80s video game influenced Attaboy in your hairy lil’ hands, and he just so happened to grant yours cruelly an advanced look-see at his tale of advanced robots and the perils of fatherhood… Presented in an over-sized “treasury” format, Attaboy relates the tale of the eponymous robot boy; the creation of a kindly scientist and a soon-to-turn rogue Motherboard, who must stand against a fleet of mechanical menaces. It’s also about exploring the existence of a game that might be completely hallucinatory (even the name of the games supposed creators, Alucinari offers credence to this)… and I haven’t gotten to the juicy part yet cats n’ creeps! At it’s center, Attaboy is a story of

Comic Book Review: Acid Nun Issue #1 (2021)

Let me tell your arcane asses, Acid Nun, the new comic book from artist/writer Corinne Halbert is chock-a-fuckin’-block with plenty of things yours cruelly holds near and dear, such as (but not limited to): blasphemous religious iconography, drugs, sexual fuckings, demons n’ monsters, ass eatin’, skulls… and oh so much more! The best way I can describe the images contained within Acid Nun would be imagine a Chick Tract illustrated on a black light poster, but instead of being all Jesus-like we get the opposite end of the spectrum… and a hail and hardy “Ave Satanas” to that one boils n’ ghouls. But what of the story I hear you bitch n’ moan… well the long and short of the narrative goes as follows: Annie is a wicked, wicked nun who sits around, often nude, and gobbles down drugs while engaging in all manner of consciousness expansion and delicious debauchery… she also happens to be in love/lust with Eleanor, a

Comic Book Review: Merrick: The Sensational Elephantman

Merrick: The Sensational Elephantman; if that title doesn’t grab ya by the short n’ curlies I have no idea what will! Merrick’s creative team, consisting of writer Tom Ward and illustrator Luke Parker have taken some cherry picked elements from the life of the real Joseph Merrick, a severely deformed man with tumor like growths covering his body who became something of a celebrity in the Victorian Age (and who’s life was the basis of David Lynch’s 1980 masterpiece, The Elephant Man) and swirled them around, amplified them, and mixed them with all manner of occult-laden goings-on and Masonic cult deviltry. This is a heady concoction indeed cats n’ creeps and when you take those concepts and slap some gorgeously rendered, chiaroscuro-infused arcane art on top of them, reminiscent of the works of Hellboy creator Mike Mignola in his prime no less, and you have one hell of a treat for the eerie eyeballs let me tell ya! I can’t

Game Review: ‘Fury Unleashed’

Awesome Games Studio where indeed awesome and gave me the opportunity to give their 2D platforming, shooter Fury Unleashed a try! Taking place in a comic book world, you take on the role of Fury, a soldier that runs and guns through the world around them as they learn more about the origin of their world as well as themselves. The game is quite nostalgic in its gameplay mechanics as you have to jump up and down platforms as you shoot at enemies, anyone who grew up in the 80’s and early 90’s know these types of games. The controls are not very complicated and given some short work you can get used to them fairly quickly. The graphics are quite fitting for this game and flow cleanly making the 2D art pleasant to see. You really are transferred into a comic book-like world with how everything looks together. Each map of the game is set up like a page

Blu-ray Review: Verotika (2019)

The arcane anthology Verotika (written and directed by the legendary Glenn Danzig; he of Misfits, Samhain, and solo fame… and based on the comic books he created for his Verotik imprint) begins with an eye-opening introduction from Morella (played with loads of satanic sass by Kayden Kross), a demonic entity that first appeared within the pages of Satanika (issue number eight to be precise, with Mighty Duke Mighten on poison pencils)… shit, did I fail to mention that I’m a titanic fan of both Glenn and his comics? Following our intro we jump to an adaptation of my favorite Verotik series, The Albino Spider of Dajette (which featured kinetic, Aeon Flux-style artwork created by Eric Canete). The basics of the story goes as follows: French model Dajette makes love in her apartment with a man that is ill-prepared to handle her unique deformity… she has eyes in her tits where those good ol’ nipples should be! Said boyfriend ghosts which

Comic Book Review: Serious Creatures Issue 1

Massachusetts based writer/artist Tony McMillen’s (Lumen) latest comic book offering Serious Creatures is a book that should be easily embraced by those that visit this site. Don’t believe me? Well, you’re an asshole… but an asshole that should read on to learn just why I’m so hyped on this beastly book! Serious Creatures concerns the adventures of teen Bobby Feckle, a young kid in the early 70’s with aspirations of being a special effects artist. A chance encounter during the filming of the biggest blockbuster of the mid-’70s (called Fin here, but you cats will dig what the book is laying down) sets Bobby on the first baby-steps of making his dreams a reality while at the same time his home-life begins to degrade. I’m willing to bet demons to doughnuts that many of you cats n’ creeps are a lot like Bobby; you live, eat, and breath movie monsters morning, noon, and night… and I’d wager a good many

Creepy Comic ‘Keepsakes – A Horror Comic Collection’ is Crawlin’ Your Way!

Seattle based writer/musician Gregg Neville is bringin’ a creepy comic your way called Keepsakes! Now, just what in the unholy hell is Keepsakes about? Allow me to let ol’ Gregg to tell you all about it (using the Wonder of the Science Age: XIII’s CopyPastra Ray!!): “KEEPSAKES is a 24 page Black-and-White comic book, telling the story of two siblings who step into their late father’s basement and find his collection of mysterious and horrifying items. Each of those items comes with their own story- an SD card from a broken camera, a firefighter’s uniform, a box of baseball caps, a folder full of receipts from a restaurant. As they encounter each item, we learn their story, and we get a sense of… what else could possibly be hidden down in their dad’s basement.” Look, I’m not in the biz of blowin’ smoke up your collective asses, but I’ve had the opportunity to lay my eerie eyeballs on Keepsakes, and
