Blu-ray Review: Nemesis: Sequel Trilogy Nemesis 2: Nebula / Nemesis 3: Time Lapse / Nemesis 4: Cry of Angels

Remember a while back when I went on and on about what a cool-ass flick Nemesis was? Well they made three more of those shits, and MVD Entertainment is releasing them all on one handy-dandy Blu-ray! So let’s dive in, shall we boils n’ ghouls? First up comes: Nemesis 2: Nebula (1995): Decades after the first film’s hero Alex Rain (because Olivier Grunner was busy doing who knows fuckin’ what and doesn’t return for this sequel) failed to stop the cyborg revolution, outlaw scientists develop some DNA that could prove to be curtains for those pesky cyborgs so they jam that shit into a preggo lady, who naturally becomes number one with (multiple) bullet(s) on the cyborg hit list. What does our beleaguered mother do? Why time travels back to 1980’s East Africa…as one does…where she is promptly killed…but the baby lives and grows into a buff tribal warrior with a Bo Derek circa 10 hair-do also named Alex (Sue

John Wick’s Chad Stahelcki & Colony’s Ryan Condal To Adapt ‘Analog’

John Wick director Chad Stahelcki is teaming up with “Colony” creator Ryan Condal for the adaptation of the sci-fi comic Analog, THR reports. Set in the near-future, “the security of the internet has been rendered useless thanks to an event referred to as the Great Doxxing. ‘John Whick’ Director Signs On For The ‘Sandman Slim’ Adaption

It appears that John Wick director Chad Stahelski is gearing up to kick-off a new franchise. The stuntman turned filmmaker has signed on to direct the film adaption of the first book of best-selling author Richard Kadrey’s nine-book fantasy series Sandman Slim, Deadline reports. Studio 8 acquired the rights last year. “Sandman Slim” is a supernatural vigilante who escapes from Hell to seek revenge for the murder of his girlfriend and the magicians responsible for getting him sent “downtown”. Kerry Williamson (What Happened to Monday) will be editing the script originally penned by Kel Symons. Patrick Walmsley of LBI Entertainment along with Julie Yorn will produce with John Lester. Studio 8’s Chis Goldberg and Rishi Rajani will oversee the film. The nine books of the series have been labeled as one Barnes and Noble’s “Best Paranormal Fantasy Novels of the Last Decade.” The 10th book of the Sandman Slim series will be published later this year.

‘John Wick’ Duo Teaming Up For Comic ‘Kill Or Be Killed’ Film Adaption

John Wick director Chad Stahelski is teaming up again with Basil Iwanyk (producer of John Wick) for the adaption of the comic series ‘Kill or Be Killed’ by ‘Winter Soldier’ creator Ed Brubaker. Dan Casey who also adapted the comic ‘Incognito’ will be penning the script, according to THR. “The project tells of a depressed college student who attempts suicide. He survives due to unlikely events but is soon visited by a demon who explains that he was the one who spared the student’s life. But there’s a price to be paid: Going forward, the young man will be allowed to live one month for every person he kills.” Erica Lee and Jeff Waxman (mother!) will also produce along with Iwanyk.
