Ninja Theory Creates “Senua’s Scholarship” After Their Video Game Heroine

It’s no big secret; I love “Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice”, the dark fantasy video game by Ninja Theory struck a chord with many players as it deals with the sensitive subject of mental health, uniquely through the eyes of a young woman back in early human history during the time of Celts and Vikings. In order to make the symptoms of Senua’s psychosis authentic, Ninja Theory consulted with Mental Health experts as well as individuals who actually are going through treatment for the illness. Because of this delicate attention to detail, “Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice” to date has won 19 awards! Proceeds of the sale of the game went towards charities involving mental health but now Ninja Theory has taken it a step further, by creating a scholarship that will fund training for mental health tutors at the CPFT Recovery College East who played a big role in helping with research for the game, the scholarship is appropriately named “Senua’s Scholarship”. Movie Review: Muse (2017)

Adam (Riley Egan) is kind of shit at being a career artist when he finally finds his muse…like literally; the dude finds the Celtic version of a muse and she’s all magical and shit. So he becomes a great artist thanks to her witchy ways, but it all comes with a price; namely she’s a tad over protective of our hero and turns into a murder machine whenever her place in Adam’s life is threatened. So what is A-man going to do; turn a blind eye to the psychotic episodes and just ride high on his new found fortune n’ glory, or will he end her wicked reign? Not going to lie; Muse is one straight up beautiful motion picture to behold; cinematographer Damian Horan along with writer/director John Burr know how to frame a scene for maximum aesthetic impact, that’s for sure; and that helped the finished fright flick look much more expensive than it actually was. Also of

Raising Awareness: Final Thoughts On ‘Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice’

This is a Spoiler Free article! Ninja Theory has released on Xbox One today their hit game Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice that received positive reviews when it was on PlayStation 4 and PC. Ninja Theory allowed me to play the Xbox One version early and write a review for it. After finally completing the game, all I can say is the last time I’ve ever played a game that made me sit back and say “Wow…” after completing it was Shadow of the Colossus on PlayStation 2 back in 2006. The following are my final thoughts on Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice a game that’s both haunting and beautiful. It’s no big secret; the storyline’s core is about Senua’s mental health, this would make her relatable to the 1 in 5 American adults who suffer from all ranges of mental illnesses. The developers kept it no secret that Senua suffers from Psychosis, right now you’re probably thinking negatively of her thanks in part

Review Of ‘Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice’ On Xbox One

In August of 2017 indie-game developer Ninja Theory released on PlayStation 4 and PC, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. The game was so popular on PS4 and PC it earned high praises from both critics and players alike as well as winning nine awards! With this success, Ninja Theory expanded the game’s potential and will release it on Xbox One on April 11th, 2018! I’ve been granted the honor by Ninja Theory to review it before it hit’s selves. All I can say now is you need to get this game! The game is heavily influenced by ancient Celtic culture along with Norse mythology, that’s enough right there to make you throw your wallets at the screen right now. The game revolves not just on the culture and mythology but on our heroine Senua’s mental health, Ninja Theory worked closely with mental health experts to make this part of the experience as real as possible, this is where the game is unique.

Halloween III: A Second Look

Gather Round Your TV Sets, Kids “You don’t really know much about Halloween.” – Conal Cochran Oh, You Mean THAT Halloween Movie… It’s the one without Michael Myers. It has nothing to do with the other movies. This one sucks. Right? Well you’re right on two counts. Halloween III: Season of the Witch does not have Michael Myers. It is not connected in any way to the Jamie Lee Curtis storyline started with the 1978 John Carpenter classic and most importantly, it was never meant to. Halloween III is as misunderstood as it is reviled with most of the hostility for the film attributed to the concept of Cynema. “When the [ Halloween II ] script came in I thought it was…the anti-Halloween. All the things that Halloween did so well…had been tossed out the window…I understood that in the intervening time between the first movie and what was going to be the second movie that times had changed, audiences
