The First Look At Sequel ‘Wyrmwood: Apocalypse’ Teases An Action-Packed Zombie Flick

Back in 2015 an Aussie zombie flick, Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead, made big waves in the genre. They’re back with a new sequel, titled Wyrmwood: Apocalypse and we’re psyched! Take a look at the first images from the movie below! Archlight Films Chairman Gary Hamilton made the announcement today that they will distribute the action-packed zombie flick. The film stars Bianca Bradley who we interviewed about Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead, along with Jake Ryan (Warner Bros.’ The Great Gatsby), Luke McKenzie (BBC Films’ Perfect Sense), Bianca Bradey (RLJ Entertainment’s The Osiris Child), Jay Gallagher (Momentum Pictures’ Nekrotronic), Shantae Barnes-Cowan (Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s series “Operation Buffalo”), Tasia Zalar (USA Networks’ “Mystery Road”), and Nicholas Boshier (ABC’s “Soulmates”). The sequel is written and directed by Kiah Roache-Turner (Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead) from a script he co-wrote with Tristan Roache-Turner (Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead). Set in a zombie-infested Australian wasteland, soldier Rhys has dedicated his life to tracking and

Movie Review: Rendel Dark Vengeance is Hyper-Violent Fun!

After a rather intense opening narration where our hero, Rendel, basically lays it on the line that he is going to tear every criminal he meets a brand new asshole, we learn about the VALA corporation and their shady vaccine business before cutting to some gangsta shit (also involving VALA) getting broken up (along with a score of criminal faces) by our viciously violent pal Big R (with some help from his ethereal blonde muse). Time passes, VALA gets super pissed that Rendel keeps harshing their gig, and action is taken…namely the assembly of a team of crazy hitmen gathered to take our hero down. Outrageous levels of violence ensue. Rendel is a nice alternative to the high adventure cape and spandex yarns currently dominating pop culture. While Rendel does wear a superhero costume of sorts, he is silent, violent (there’s that word again…notice a theme?), and completely driven to destroy the VALA corporation (with very good reason, but i’m

Go Behind The Scenes Of The Zombie Series ‘Wyrmwood: Chronicles Of The Dead’

Let us take you on a journey into the Australian Outback in a new batch of behind-the-scene photos from the upcoming series Wyrmwood: Chronicles of the Dead, directed by Kiah Roache-Turner. In a recent interview with Bianca Bradey, star of both the film and the series, we learned that it will be a seven part supernatural series with a “Walking Dead meets True Detective” vibe. It’s a seven part series. It’s going to be very hard hitting. They are going for sort of The Walking Dead meet True detective style. It’s going to be gritty and edgy. It’s got a lot of supernatural twists to it. They are turning the zombie genre on its head again. The concept is completely original. They are really mixing the genres. It’s going to be zombie-sci-fi.” According to Bradey, the series, set in a apocalyptic world where power comes from blood, picks up “several months down the track. They are fighting the good fight

Between it’s fast paced action and a unique story line (which is hard to do these days), the film left quite an impression on fans of the over saturated subgenre. Now, the TV series Wyrmwood: Chronicles of the Dead, directed by Kiah Roache-Turner, is approaching its premiere and has unleashed a six minute clip. Bianca Bradey Tells Us About Her Upcoming Projects Including Wyrmwood TV In An Interview

Today, I caught up with Australian actress Bianca Bradey star the indie zombie hit ‘Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead‘, who I first interviewed back in 2014. A group of survivors has banned together. Barry (Jay Gallagher) and his group are on a mission, his sister, Brooke (Bianca Bradley), has been kidnapped by a twisted doctor who carries out strange experiments. Barry and the rest of the group head out to rescue Brooke, not knowing that the experiments have given her a new power. A new series, ‘Wyrmwood TV‘, linked to the film, has just been announced. Bradey was willing to answer a few of my questions and filled us in on the upcoming series. We also discussed what she has been up to since

The first full trailer for ‘Death House’ has arrived and it is incredible! From Harrison Smith (Zombie Killers: Elephant’s Graveyard,The Fields, 6 Degrees of Hell, Camp Dread) comes a horror film the likes of which we’ve never seen. No other horror film in history has had such an enormous cast of genre icons. In the film, “Agents Toria Boon and Jae Novak have their own dark pasts, arriving at Death House to tour its levels and observe its denizens first hand as well as the medical and mental experiments of Drs. The victims are homeless bused into Death House to play literal victims while killing habits are studied. The results are sick, but only a hint of what goes on here.

Death House Releases New Promotional Art

Death House, one of the most highly anticipated horror films of 2016, has just released new artwork by artist Sean Wilson. Director Harrison Smith had this to say about the new poster: We hope the artwork reflects the complexity of the film, hints of steam punk and also a solid sign of the horror Death House contains behind its walls. Smith pointed out an interesting detail about the artwork to me. If you look closely at the left eye (our right) you will see an aerial photo of the Death House facility. Smith, known for his films Camp Dread, The Fields, 6 Degrees of Hell, and Zombie Killers: Elephant’s Graveyard, not only directed but also penned the script, based on the original screenplay by Gunnar Hansen who played Leatherface in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Hansen gave Smith his blessing on the new script before he passed away in 2015. Death House features a cast of genre legends like we’ve

Writer/Director Harrison Smith Provides Us With An Update On His Film Death House

The horror community is a buzz over the upcoming film Death House, a film like no other horror film ever made. Death House has a cast so impressive it makes you feel as if your head is going to explode. But don’t be mistaken, Death House is not some gimmick who relies on cameos to carry the film. It has a great story. And no, there is no Freddy vs Jason or anything like that. The stars play new characters from an original story created by Gunnar Hansen, the actor who played Leatherface in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, among other things. What truly makes the film special is that it was Gunnar Hansen’s last project. He poured his heart into the script. Just before he passed away the script was turned over to Harrison Smith who rewrote the script with Gunnar. Gunnar approved the script before he passed and gave his blessing to Smith, who is dedicated to making
