From climbing to the top of multiple Must-See horror film lists, to critical and fan acclaim, as well as topping the “most-watched” premieres on Shudder two years in a row (2018 for Hell House LLC II and 2019 for Hell House LLC III), Hell House LLC continues to wow horror fans. The blood-drenched indie cannibal horror Human Hibachi was set to arrive on Amazon this month but has now been banned on Amazon due to its intense, horrific, and graphic nature. But don’t worry, you can still witness the carnage this month on the official Human Hibachi website. In the film, a man documents his girlfriend’s 35th birthday on his phone. What he captures throughout the night are the most disturbing human acts imaginable. So when I made this film, I knew some of the stuff that I put in it might exclude us from platforms like Amazon, however, I wanted to see my vision through so I wasn’t going to let that hold me back. The main goal was to make something different… something that will be remembered and I’ll take that over being rejected by a platform any day.” Director Mario Cerrito states. Elizabeth Gaynor, Carmine Giordano, Wataru Nishida, Carley Harper, Sopheaktra Theng, Andrew Hunsicker, John Campanile, and Stafford

Back last year we reported that horror heavy hitter James Wan was set to produce the pilot for a possible “I Know What You Did Last Summer” TV series for Amazon. Today Amazon officially greenlit the show, THR reports. The series will share a premise with the movie, in which a group of teenagers is stalked by a killer a year after a fatal accident on their graduation night, but with a fresh new modern spin. We are thrilled to have I Know What You Did Last Summer with our incredible partners at Amazon Studios,”THR quotes Sony Pictures TV Studios co-president Jason Clodfelter as saying. “Neal Moritz and Original Film’s development consistently fires on all cylinders and that is proven once again with Sara Goodman’s contemporary and pulsating character weaving suspense thriller.” Sara Goodman (Preacher, Gossip Girl) is writing and executive producing the series for Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures TV. With Wan producing through Atomic Monster banner, along with

After reviewing both Bleak Precision and The Sublime Darkness, I thought it was definitely time to interview Greg Chapman. Let me tell you, this guy is not only a great author and fantastic illustrator, but he is out there working hard to push writing and horror into the limelight! He has an impressive and extremely diverse catalogue and I was very happy that he agreed to answer some questions about how his horror-filled mind works. (Horror Fuel) You have such a variety of work and a large collection of that work. Novels, novellas, short stories, graphic novels, do you approach the different styles differently? What do you get from each style? (Greg Chapman) Great question Greg. I approach everything I write differently each time. Short stories (which ironically, I find the most challenging), tend to come to me at the most unforeseen moments and I usually write a short story when I an image or scenario or even a word

I love my job of reviewing books. I love getting chatting with authors and being able to read their work. When I received a pdf of the novella The Body Will Follow from author Rob E. Boley I read the synopsis and was hooked before even reading the first page. To my great surprise, I was even more hooked as soon as dove into the book. This is such a unique, entertaining and intriguing story that I was sad to finish it. Characters Carrie and Daniel, the two main characters in the book, are flawed, strong, weak, scared, awkward, unsure, lonely, sick, powerful and realistic people who are trying to figure out who they are and what their lives are. It is not an easy thing to fit so much depth of story into only 150 pages, but the way Boley does it is fantastic. He seamlessly weaves layer after layer of story together. Not only does the book focus

Greg Chapman is a horror author in the truest, purest sense of the title. He thrives in darkness and basks in the bleak world of fear. I am a big fan and I was so happy to read his short story collection: The Sublime Darkness: And Other Dark Stories. This is the second book I have read of Chapman’s and so this time I was prepared for the dive into the depths of darkness…and it was a fantastic journey! Characters The characters in these stories are impressive. Not only are they always unique and intriguing, but they are realistic. Even in the darkest of his universes, the characters in Chapman’s stories seem like regular people in traumatic situations. They could be your neighbor, or the person you just passed on the street last time you went on a walk. Not only does he create such great characters, but he does it in an impressive way. Chapman excels at fully introducing

Here on horrorfuel.com we focus a lot on entertainment and horror as a fun world of terror that we escape into. I absolutely love doing book and movie reviews, press releases, and anything else possible to expand this world of horror that I love. However, the time comes now and then when real life is far more terrifying and crushing than any movie or novel. The book by Chip Jones The Organ Thieves: The Shocking Story of the First Heart Transplant in the Segregated South outlines the horrifying story of Bruce Tucker. On May 24, 1968 Bruce Tucker went into the hospital after suffering a serious head injury. The hospital claims to have tried urgently to contact his family, but nobody seemed to notice his brother’s business card stuck in the front pocket of his jeans. Meanwhile, Bruce had not come home from work and his family was searching frantically for him. When he entered the hospital, Bruce was said
