Serial Killer Pedro Rodrigues Filho, The Real “Dexter”

You rarely see a good serial killer, but if you had to cheer one on it would probably be “Dexter”. You might be surprised to learn that there was a real serial killer that would give Dexter a run for his money. Meet Pedro Rodrigues Filho. Filho committed at least 70 murders. He started young, killing at least 10 by the age of 18. His choice of victims sets him apart from the crowd, he didn’t target the average person, instead, he went after other criminals and those he felt had wronged him. The killer, once described as the “perfect psychopath”, had a rough life from the moment he came kicking and screaming into this world. Born in 1954 in Gerais, Brazil, he was born with a head injury caused by the abuse his mother took while pregnant from his dad. He also suffered physical abuse from his father throughout his childhood. Filho’s first murder attempt was at 13 when

Blaming Video Games In Order To Save Face?

Donald Trump says he will be meeting with heads of video game companies next week to discuss violence and video games. This is in response to the recent school shooting in Parkland, Florida that was carried out by a former student who’s believed to be mentally ill. The topic of mental health and access to firearms has been a topic of debate since the shooting at Sandy Hook but one thing always comes up that makes records scratch; “it’s the fault of video games.” This has been a topic of debate since the ‘90s, do video games cause crime? Well, this goes back a bit more, 1979 to be exact when a strange incident was blamed on a board game. Back in 1979 child prodigy, James Dallas Egbert III vanished from his dorm room at Michigan State University leaving behind a suicide note. While the search for the boy was underway it was theorized by a private detective working for

Movie Review: Cruel Summer is a Vacation I Never Hope to Take Again.

This is probably going to be one of the shorter reviews I have ever written…mainly because I think if I spend any more time time thinking about Cruel Summer I may get sick. Cruel Summer tells the charming (and supposedly true) tale of a young autistic man named Danny (Richard Pawulski) from the inner-city that gets a chance to go to the country thanks to a Governmental program. While there he encounters a real psycho of a human being who plans Danny’s demise after his equally atrocious girlfriend concocts a lie about the youth. You can guess the rest. Let’s see if I can put a positive on some of this…I guess if you want to see a film that fully displays the cruelty and unfairness that life can throw at someone then Cruel Summer is the picture for you. There is no epic revenge, no hope, barely any retribution…it’s just one unfortunate soul encountering a force that is out

If you are intrigued by serial killers, you’re not alone. Many have a morbid curiosity about those who kill. You might not realize it, but there are a lot of books out there written by serial killers, and we just happen to have a list of nine of them. A Question of Doubt John Wayne Gacy took the lives of 33 men and boys. He also appeared at many children’s birthday parties dressed as his alter ego, “Pogo the Clown”, which earned him the nickname “The Killer Clown”. Convicted in 1980, Gacy penned A Question of Doubt in which put the blame for his killing and for having to bury his victim in his crawl space under his home. His book, which had a limited release (500

Movie Review: In A Madman’s World Takes Us to Places No Sane Person Would Want to Go!

Elmer Wayne Henley is a down on his luck young dude from Texas. His family is broken (ol’ Elmer lives with his Mom for the record…probably because his Dad is the type of guy that doesn’t think twice about pulling a pistol and unloading a few rounds at his son’s back as he runs away), he’s surrounded by poverty, and his future doesn’t look all that bright and shiny. Enter small time hoodlum Dean Croll into Henley’s life…a charismatic fellow who gets our “hero” involved in all manner of thievery. Of course the illicit activity takes a turn for the darker side when Croll decides that white slavery…in particular the trade of young male teens, would be more lucrative…and Henley goes right along with the insanity. Croll then proceeds to take things even further by raping and murdering scores of young men which Henley helps lure into his clutches (due in no small part to Dean playing into his paranoia)…though

Possible Charges For ‘Dumbest Criminal’ Logan Paul

Earlier this month, Japanese police announced they wanted to talk to Paul in regards to the video of him and his friends filming the body of a suicide victim while joking about it. Though the original controversy surrounded him using the victim as a prop it turned out he used Japan as a whole as a prop for his vlogs and as a result, he’s possibly facing four misdemeanor charges mainly involving disturbing the peace and traffic violations. An ex-detective gave Paul the title of being the “dumbest criminal” because he willingly filmed himself breaking the law, you can see a “highlight reel” put together by Nextshark below. YouTube and Google released a statement announcing that internet disgrace, Logan Paul, will no longer be associated with them and was removed from Google’s advertising tier Google Preferred.
