An Interview with New Fear’s Eve Star Lily-Claire Harvey

Have you ever been watching a movie and seen a young actor you know is going places? That was how I felt while watching the indie horror film New Fear’s Eve. The moment Lily-Claire Harvey stepped on screen, she caught my attention. Well, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Harvey to discuss the slasher, and I have to say, I walked away even more impressed. If you haven’t seen New Fears Eve, you need to put it at the top of your must-see list. I went into it expecting just another slasher; however, I have to say, I truly enjoyed it. What I didn’t expect was for it to be funny as hell. While a killer dressed as a plague doctor goes on one hell of a killing spree, we meet three employees/friends who go to a company party, where things turn very bloody. The film comes from the dynamic filmmaking duo of PJ Starks and Eric Huskisson.

The Cast of “The Institute” Talk Season One in Our Interview

“The Institute,” based on Stephen King’s novel, has been officially renewed for its second season by MGM+. Getting renewed was one of the topics discussed during my interview with the cast. “The Institute” follows the story of teen genius Luke Ellis (played by Joe Freeman). A young man who is kidnapped. He wakes up in a mysterious facility called The Institute. It’s a place filled with children who all arrived the same way he did. And they all possess unusual abilities that the Institute uses for nefarious purposes. Meanwhile, haunted former police officer Tim Jamieson (played by Ben Barnes) has come looking to start a new life. However, peace won’t last for long. His story and Luke’s are destined to collide following a terrifying series of events. I recently sat down with three of the series’ stars: Joe Freeman (Luke), Simone Miller (Kalisha), and Fionn Laird (Nicky). Watch as the cast discusses the series, their characters, and what they hope

Director Eli Craig Talks Clown in a Cornfield in Our Interview

One of my favorite horror comedies of all time is Eli Craig’s horror comedy Tucker and Dale vs. Evil. It has been since its release in 2010. Offering a mix of horror and a whole lot of humor, it’s one of those rare movies that couldn’t be more perfect. So, of course, when I got the opportunity to interview Craig about his new movie, Clown in a Cornfield, I jumped at the chance. First, let’s talk about Tucker and Dale vs. Evil. It follows two friends on vacation at their new mountain cabin, Tucker (Alan Tudyk) and Dale (Tyler Labine). When a group of preppy college kids mistakes them for murderers, mayhem follows. Whether you want to relive its dark humor or watch it for the first time, you can find it streaming on Fandango, Hoopla, and Prime Video. Craig’s new movie, Clown in the Cornfield, sees Quinn and her father seeking a fresh start. They have moved to the

Interviews with the Cast of Twisted Metal

One of the best series on TV is Peacock’s adaptation of the Twisted Metal game. The high-octane action of “Twisted Metal is continuing to deliver pure, brutal mayhem and dark humor in its second season. New episodes drop every week, with jaw-dropping twists, surprising alliances, and a whole lot of car-crushing carnage as drivers compete to win the race and claim the prize: a wish. Anthony Mackie returns as John Doe, and Stephanie Beatriz as the formidable Quiet. Will Arnett is back to voice Sweet Tooth, whose physical presence is brought to life by Joe Seanoa. One of the recently introduced characters in season two, Axel, is played by Michael James Shaw. You will recognize Shaw from his role as Corvus Glaive in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. He also had a recurring role on “The Walking Dead” as Michael Mercer. Axel stands out against the other drivers in “Twisted Metal.” Axel is literally the axle of his vehicle.

Ahead of its Premiere, We Interviewed the Cast of “Teacup”

From James Wan’s Atomic Monster and series creator Ian McCulloch (“Yellowstone”) comes the chilling new sci-fi horror series “Teacup“. Ahead of its premiere this week, I sat down for an interview with the creator and the cast to discuss the intense series. A stranger appears and draws a line around the farm; one step over the line is deadly. An Interview with the Cast of ‘Salem’s Lot’

One of the year’s most highly anticipated horror films is Gary Dauberman’s new adaptation of Stephen King’s Salem’s Lot. With its premiere only days away, I sat down with the film’s cast, including Lewis Pullman, Makenzie Leigh, Alfre Woodard, and Spencer Treat Clark, to discuss the movie, their characters, special effects, and much more. The film is set in 1975, when King’s original novel was published. Salem’s Lot follows author Ben Mears as he returns to his hometown of Jerusalem’s Lot. Haunted by a childhood incident, Mears seeks inspiration for his next book. Ben soon discovers that the town is being terrorized by a bloodthirsty vampire and its loyal servant. Alexandre Aja and the Cast Talk ‘Never Let Go’ In Our Interviews

Alexandre Aja is a name familiar to horror fans. He’s the director behind films like High Tenson, The Hills Have Eyes, and Crawl. Now he has taken on the tale of a mother (Hale Berry) desperate to protect her sons from evil in Never Let Go. In the film, as evil takes over the world beyond their front doorstep. The only protection for a mother (Berry) and her two sons is their home, their family’s bond, and a chant echoed in the new trailer. Needing to stay connected, they tether themselves to their home with ropes and cling to one another, urging each other to “never let go.” . . I had the pleasure of interviewing Alexandre Aja about the horrors that await viewers in Never Let Go. The Adams Family Discusses Their New Horror Movie ‘Hell Hole’ in Our Interview

When it comes to a true filmmaking family, there’s no family like the Adams family. The parent-child team features father John Adams, mother Toby Poser, and daughters Zelda and Lulu Adams, who are a force to be reckoned with regarding indie horror. The filmmakers have a long history of creating unnerving, fright-filled films like The Devil Roams (2023) and Hellbender (2021). Now, they have a new horror movie, Hell Hole. I had the absolute pleasure of talking with Toby and John about their wild new movie Hell Hole, which is part body horror and part creature feature. It’s a must-see while it departs from their iconic dark, gritty horror films. It’s a bloody, wild film filled with dark humor and practical effects. Hell Hole sees a fracking crew working deep in the Serbian wilderness at odds with government-assigned environmental advisors. When they begin to drill, the workers uncover the unimaginable: a dormant parasitic monster entombed deep in the rock. Now
