Top 10 Scariest States In The U.S.

As a lover of all things dark and spooky, have you ever wondered what states have the most hauntings, most horror movies, or the most serial killers? Cycling Frog has done the research and crunched the numbers and shared with us the “Top 10 Scariest States.” “Vermont takes the top spot in the terrifying table. Despite being home to just 645,000 Americans, Vermont reports a higher number of UFO sightings than any other state, recording 90 sightings per 100,000 people. The average number of UFO sightings across the states is 45 per 100,000 people, so Vermonters are reporting double the average number of sightings on the National UFO Reporting Center website. Vermont also has the highest number of haunted places per 100,000 people living in the state. It’s home to over 2,000 cemeteries, so it’s no wonder 236 individual ghost sightings have been logged on GhostsofAmerica.com alone – that’s around 37 per 100,000 people in the state. Although it’s probably

Netflix Review: “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” Is A Must See

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you have either heard of or have already binge-watched Netflix’s new 10-episode true crime series “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” starring Evan Peters as the infamous serial killer also known as the “Milwaukee Cannibal.” Even Peters, most well known for his roles in the “American Horror Story” franchise, plays his best role to date, giving an eerie performance that is so realistic that it’s scary. A better actor could not have been cast. It was a perfect fit. The series does not feature a lot of puff to make it more disturbing, like many docuseries or documentaries. It’s disturbing all on its own. In fact, it leaves some of the more brutal details unseen, because let’s face it, the crimes of Dahmer were beyond cruel. When it comes to accuracy, the series is dead on. Only one notable scene (that we know of) was changed, the scene where he drinks the blood out

Real Monsters: Pedro Lopez, The World’s Worst Serial Killer Is Free To Kill Again

There are few things more despicable than a person who hurts children. When I hear about someone abusing a child it leaves me fuming and hoping that they get a heavy dose of karma. When it comes to bad men who hurt children, there is no one on earth worse than Pedro Alonso, a kidnapper, rapist, serial killer, necrophiliac (he has sex with dead bodies), and rumored cannibal. Born on October 8, 1948, Columbian native Pedro Alonso, known as “The Monster of the Andes,” is the worst serial killer to ever walk the earth with an estimated body count of 300 victims, all children. Lopez had a rough start in life (not an excuse). His father was killed before he was born. He was the 7th of 13 children. Lopez admitted that his mother was abusive and had to turn to prostitution to take care of the family, often bringing home customers and sometimes having sex in front of Pedro

The True Story Of Louisiana’s Casket Girls

In 1728, New Orleans was chaotic. The streets were filled with men yelling as they worked and fought, and horses’ hooves pounded on the street. The men were unruly and officials believed it was due to a lack of women. The men’s prayers were answered when a ship, the La Nouvelle Orleans, arrived carrying a group of young women handpicked by the Bishop of Quebec by the order of the French King. The young women were there for one reason, to marry the men of the budding Louisiana colony. The women’s belongings were all packed in casket-like boxes. Rumors quickly began to spread about the women who were so pale that just moments in the sun left them blistered. While waiting to find their future husbands, the women were cared for by the Ursuline Nuns. The casket-shaped chests were kept on the third floor of their home. The door was sealed shut. Later the nuns went to the attic to
