Game Review: ‘FORENSIC – M.E. Protocol’

Back in the early 2000s, CSI was insanely popular, as seen with almost every major city in the U.S. being represented in its own series. There were games based on the show, and they were…interesting. But now, fans of forensic science can look forward to a goofy indie game I was given to try by K148 Game Studio and JanduSoft titled FORENSIC – M.E. Protocol. In FORENSIC – M.E. Protocol, you take on the role of a cop that’s part of the forensics team, and it’s your job to investigate the scene of suspected crimes to determine if a crime was committed or not. Now, onto the game itself! The controls for this game will take some time to get used to, as it’s quite… unique. Unfortunately, there’s no real tutorial telling you how to use the controls, or even how to properly use some of the equipment you’re using in the game. There is a training level, but that

An Unplayable Mess: ‘Necrophosis: Full Consciousness’

What happens when Lovecraft meets Beksiński? You get Necrophosis: Full Consciousness. That alone should be exciting news. Unfortunately, the copy I got for the Xbox is, as the title says, an unplayable mess. I was only able to get to the second map in the game, where I’m softlocked by a puzzle. At the time of writing this, when I reported the game-crashing bug, I was told that it’s just me and that the game is fine. I call BS. I don’t know if it’s just for the Xbox that this bug happened, or if the other console ports of this game have this issue. I know the good ol’ adage of turning it off and on again is running through some of your minds, and I did just that. I did a hard restart of the game, and even restarted the main game’s story. The game break took a strange turn. Instead of restarting me at the start of

After a decade of players practically begging and pleading, the horror gaming gods have finally answered. Dead by Daylight, in a monumental partnership with Jason Universe, is officially welcoming the undisputed king of Camp Crystal Lake: Jason Voorhees. To celebrate Dead by Daylight’s massive 10th anniversary, the ultimate slasher is bringing his 45-year legacy of hockey masks and heavy breathing into the game. The carnage kicks off today, May 26, 2026, on the Steam Public Test Build (PTB), before officially slashing onto live servers on June 16, 2026. The Ultimate Milestone For a game that prides itself on being the “Avengers of Horror,” missing Jason was like throwing a pizza party and forgetting the pizza. He’s been the number-one requested character since 2016. “There was never a question that our 10th Anniversary Chapter couldn’t just be big – it needed to be something really special,” says Dave Richard, Sr. Creative Director. “When we started to see a path to finally

Checking out the Bermuda Triangle Gaming Glasses by GUNNAR

Gunnar has once again teamed up with Alienware to take players’ gaming experiences and comfort out of this world! For those not familiar with our friends at Gunnar, they specialize in making glasses that have anti-blue light tech. Screens give off blue light that’s invisible to the eyes but can cause strain and fatigue for them. Gunnar’s glasses help block this light to allow those who look at screens all day to work in comfort. Gunnar’s glasses are used by pro e-sport players, gamers, the military, and even animators at Dreamworks. The Alienware Burmuda Triangle glasses are a wraparound shield lens that’s befitting the aesthetics of Alienware. The lens offers a panoramic view that is perfect if you have multiple screens with your rig or a large monitor. Upcoming Game ‘FEED IT’ Turns Meal Prep into a Psychological Nightmare

If you think your current living situation is tense, wait until you meet your new landlord. Italian indie studio Games On A Chair—alongside publisher Pretty Soon—has officially pulled back the curtain on FEED IT. This psychological horror game makes “splitting the grocery bill” look like a walk in the park. The reveal trailer dropped today, and it’s all about jump scares and more about the crushing realization that you are basically a sentient Uber Eats driver for a monster. The Hook: “Hangry” is an “Understatement In FEED IT, you aren’t with a shotgun or a magic spell. You’re the guy in a house with a creature that has an extremely high metabolism and a very short fuse. The gameplay revolves around a single, agonizing choice: Feed the Monster: You stay safe, but you slowly starve to death. Feed Yourself: You stay nourished, but the creature in the next room is going to have a very loud, very violent opinion about

Game Review: ‘WILL: Follow the Light’

When it comes to walking sims, they pretty much all fall victim to monotony. The stories tend to always be the same, little else is going on, and most of the games copy one another. Tomorrowhead Studio’s WILL: Follow the Light may have fallen into this, BUT, have done it a little differently. WILL: Follow the Light follows Will, a lighthouse keeper who is searching for his son after a landslide took out most of their hometown. After learning that his estranged father took his son out to sea to fish during the disaster, Will sets sail in search of them, where he confronts the loss of his wife, his childhood, and his fears of turning into his father. Now, onto the game itself! When it comes to the controls, it’s mainly limited, but quick to learn, like most walking sims. I really enjoyed the game’s soundtrack, but I wish more of it played during the game, as it seems

Shear Panic: Flock Off! Brings the Zombie Sheepocalypse to Steam

If you thought your commute was bad, try surviving a 1990s Scottish Highlands overrun by undead livestock with a taste for human flesh. Bunkhouse Games and Shoreline Games have officially confirmed that their chaotic co-op PvE adventure, Flock Off!, is bleating its way onto Steam in 2026. To celebrate, they’ve dropped a brand-new trailer that is exactly as unhinged as “chainsawing a zombie ram” suggests. The “Baaa-d” News: Dolly’s Revenge Born from the mind of Matthías Guðmundsson—the former lead developer at CCP Games who decided that space spreadsheets (EVE Online) weren’t nearly as high-stakes as mutant mutton—Flock Off! transports players to an alternate-reality Scotland. It turns out that early 90s scientific cloning experiments went slightly south. Instead of a breakthrough in agriculture, we got a “Sheepocalypse.” Now, herds of mindless, woolly adversaries are roaming the moors looking for snacks. And unfortunately, you’re on the menu. Gameplay: If You Can Pick It Up, You Can Kill With It Flock Off! is

Ever since the post-credits teaser at the end of The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me, fans of the series, myself included, were interested to see how the game’s series will look as its latest instalment, Directive 8020, will take the series to the stars.
