William Gibson’s Never Filmed Alien 3 Script Getting Comic Adaptation

William Gibson‘s Alien 3 script may have never have reached the silver screen, but that won’t stop it from being unleashed on the world. The script is being adapted for a new comic book series. Gibson’s 1980 tale will be illustrated by “Angel Catbird” artist Johnnie Christmas with “Doom Patrol’s” Tamra Bonvillain providing the color. The action-packed comic is set after the events of Alien with Ripley, Bishop, Hicks, and Newt captured by a group called the Union of Progressive People and are whisked away to the space station Anchorpoint. Following the discovery of U.P.P Weyland Yutani are in an arms race to develop an army of bloodthirsty Xenomorphs and the station is overrun. In 1992 David Fincher made his directorial debut with his own version of Alien 3, written by Vincent Ward, which was not loved by critics or fans. New ‘Alien’ Video Game Coming

A new first-person shooting video game set in the Alien universe is in the works over at FoxNext Games with Cold Iron Studios developing the game. This will be the first Alien FPS since Aliens: Colonial Marines that was released in 2013 by SEGA and Gearbox Software. Colonial Marines was ripped apart by fans and critics and was subject to a class action lawsuit on the grounds of false advertising as the demos of the game that were shown at PAX and E3 had better graphics than the product that was released to gamers. SEGA settled the lawsuit and Gearbox was dropped from it. The plot and more details about the upcoming game as of right now are under wraps so no confirmation if this is an original story set in the Alien franchise or if it’s directly connected. It is confirmed by FoxNext that the game is in the works along with a Planet of the Apes game as

Women (In Horror) Crush Wednesday: ALIEN DAY TWOFER! Sigourney Weaver And Veronica Cartwright

Greetings, my Little Xenomorphs. Yes, I know you’re all accustomed to the moniker of Little Monsters, but today is the 26th of April or 4/26, thus making it ALIEN DAY! I trust I don’t need to explain the relevance of the number combination in relation to the movie Alien. BUT, for those of you who don’t know, it’s a reference to the planet, known as LV-426, where the crew of the star-freighter Nostromo first encountered the facehugger that “impregnated” Ash (played by the late great John Hurt). OK, that’s enough of that, because we’re here to focus on TWO wonderful Women of Horror today. That’s right, count ’em…one, two. As you can clearly see, the focus today is on the only two female female cast members of Ridley Scott’s classic 1979 film, Alien – Veronica Cartwright and Sigourney Weaver. Both of these ladies would grace the world with their presence in 1949. Veronica A. Cartwright was born on April 20th

Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant is set to be the bloodiest of the franchise. New aliens, know as Neomorphs, and the classic Xenomorphs, will become the crew’s worst nightmare. The the special edition will delve into the Alien mythos and the story behind Covenant which is a sequel to both Promethius and the original Alien film. Ridley Scott has revealed that the new Neomorphs were inspired by nature documentaries and creatures, including the infamous Goblin Shark. Some poor soul became a meal for the Neomorph in this image. New Nightmarish Poster Revealed For ALIEN: COVENANT

Well hello my Little Monsters. As you may have just seen above, a deliciously dark and scary new poster for Alien: Covenant has just been released. This image seems to be a xenomorph depiction of “The Gates of Hell” by Rodin. If you are not familiar with it, Google it, because it’s an astounding sight to behold. Perhaps this image is meant to signify the “hell” that will rain down upon the characters in this prequel to Scott’s 1979 film Alien. I don’t know about any of you, but with each trailer, image or poster that gets released for this movie, I start fiending like crazy. AND WE ARE STILL ALMOST TWO LONG MONTHS AWAY FROM THE RELEASE DATE! Whew…sorry about that, but I am seriously psyched to see this new installment of the Alien franchise. I think I’m beginning to understand how Renton from Trainspotting felt when he was trying yo kick the skag. Maybe that’s overstating it, but

Photos Leaked From Alien: Covenant Reveal Facehuggers, New Alien And More

A few days ago, we reported that ‘Alien: Covenant’ actor Michael Fassbender had revealed the name of the new Xenomorphs, named Neomorphs, and the details that surround the creatures creation. Today, several leaked photos from the film surfaced, via SoIsItAnyGood.com. The images, we fear, won’t be up long due to the spoilers they contain. They are from the actual set, not from a prop room. The photos reveal that Fassbender’s character, the android David from ‘Prometheus’, has been busy collecting specimens while stranded on the planet. They show the new alien, the Neomorph, as well as Facehuggers and eggs. You can view the photos HERE, but be warned they are filled with spoilers. The creatures begin their lives in pods growing on trees, which infect their hosts via their ears and bursts out through their victims’ backs, a twist on the classic Facehuggers. Unlike the classic Xenomorphs, the Neomorphs are white. They are based on an unused concept from ‘Prometheus’.

Details Revealed Of Alien: Covenant’s New Xenomorph

One of the best parts of the ‘Alien’ franchise are the Xenomorphs. We have been following the development of Ridley Scott’s ‘Alien: Covenant’ closely. Now, we know one of the variant creatures we will see in ‘Covenant’, thanks to one of its stars, Michael Fassbender. While speaking to BBC Radio 2, Fassbender mentioned that one of the new breeds of Xeno we will witness in ‘Covenant’ is being referred to as as a Neomorph. More details on the Neomorph were obtained by AvP Galaxy. The Neomorph were created by an infestation of a type of black goo on their planet that allowed the ecosystem to mutate. The creatures begin their lives in pods growing on trees, which infect their hosts via their ears and bursts out through their victims’ backs, a twist on the classic Facehuggers. Unlike the classic Xenomorphs, the Neomorphs are white. They are based on an unused concept from ‘Prometheus’ (art below). Michael Fassbender co-stars alongside Noomi
