Gameplay Footage Of ‘World War Z’ Emerges

At the big electronics and gaming expo E3, fans and onlookers got a chance to watch gameplay footage from the upcoming “World War Z” game, which promises to be more like the book than the movie. One of the developers from Sabre Interactive was on hand to give more insight for what fans will be expecting to experience. The game will be a four player co-op where you can pick from four different characters specific to each of the three levels you’re playing on meaning there are twelve different individuals to play as. The three levels take place in New York, Moscow, and Jerusalem where players will be facing approximately 500 AI zombies at once! Each level has three chapters where players scavenge for items to use for making traps and barriers to hold off the hoards of the (still debatable) undead. Though the game and developers say the game is unique, many gamers have criticized the claim and drawn

As mentioned in a previous article and now confirmed, players will be going to locations that were in the films namely Jerusalem and the South Korean airbase; players will also be going to New York City and Moscow with the promise that more locations around the globe will be added eventually. Players will be able to construct traps as well as barriers to alter the path of the running hoard. Now some new details! The game will be in third person view (most like over the shoulder view). Players Take On The Hoard In ‘World War Z’

Gamers and fans of the film and book ‘World War Z’ will be able to take their love of the story a step further and actually be in the middle of the body-piling chaos along with friends in the upcoming 4 player Co-Op video game by Saber Interactive. The overall story is unknown but takes players to recognizable locations from the film as well as some locations that were not in the film. Players can make traps, upgrade weapons, build barriers, and use their surroundings to keep back and survive the (debatable) undead hoard. My prediction is the game will resemble that of ‘Left 4 Dead’ and ‘Killing Floor’ both game series focus on teamwork and reaching objectives while surviving an onslaught of zombies. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, you can check out the reveal trailer below and check out the website here!

Director David Fincher Gives An Update On ‘World War Z 2’

David Fincher, who will be directing the upcoming sequel to 2013’s zombie outbreak film World War Z, recently gave Little White Lies an update on the sequel’s progress. We’re hoping to get a piece of material that’s a reason to make a movie not an excuse to make a movie,” Fincher recently told Collider, indicating that he’s taking his time with the development process to make sure the sequel is one of worth.” He told Little White Lies that, “We’re trying. A lot of stones have been laid. We’re just deconstructing it right now against the mythology that exists to see where we can go.” It sounds like it will be a while before we see World War Z 2, but the fact that he’s taking the time to find a film worthy script is good news. The better the script, the better the movie. Brad Pitt, who starred as the main character U.N. investigator Gerry Lane in the original

World War Z 2 Moving Forward

It has been a while since any news about the upcoming sequel to World War Z has surfaced. Today we can report the film has now entered into preproduction and is preparing to begin filming late this summer. WWZ 2 will follow United Nations Investigator Gerry Lane, played by Brad Pitt, and the continued fight to rid the world of the zombie plague. The original director, J. A. Banyon, stepped away from the project last year and the new director for WWZ 2 has yet to be announced. But it sounds like the new director, who ever he or she might be, is already in negotiations. The film also got a new writer, Dennis Kelly, who has taken over for Steve Knight. WWZ was very different from most of the zombie movies of 2013. Not only was it an outbreak film, the zombies were fast paced adding extra danger for the characters. During Gerry’s travels he learned the key to

World War of the Dead by Eric S. Brown

The basic synopsis of Eric S. Brown’s novel ‘World War of the Dead‘ is simple enough. In World War II the undead and a monster as old as time are brought to our world by a bombing run, and it’s up to 3 men who develop unique powers to stop them. …Okay, so maybe it’s not so simple. Overall I would say that World War of the Dead is an intense, enjoyable ride. There are several moments that made me go ‘What?!’ and ‘…uh… what?’ out loud, but what fun is an action-based zombie book if it doesn’t make you question its intentions aloud every now and again? Entertainment 5/5 I cannot stress enough that this book is a roller coaster ride, and that I mean that in the best possible way. There is a LOT of action due to the nature of the story, first and foremost. In a lot of ways it is first a war book, and
