‘Far Cry 6’ Gets Release Date

Ubisoft announced today the release date for their upcoming FPS Far Cry 6 along with more information about the characters and mechanics of the game and the potential craziness that awaits players in the fictitious nation of Yaran. Yaran is a country in the Caribbean stuck in time as it’s under the strict control of its dictator Antón Castillo (Giancarlo Esposito). Players take on the role of Dani Rojas, a Yaran military dropout who players can choose to be either a Man or a Woman. Dani joins forces with the guerillas that are hell-bent on bringing Castillo’s reign to an end as his brutality goes out of control. Here players get to help out Clara Garcia, the leader of the guerilla forces known as Libertad, and Juan Cortez, a former KGB spy, and master of guerilla combat. Players will be able to create their own weaponry using the “Resolver” spirit which will aid them in their fight against Castillo’s forces.

‘Far Cry 6’ Coming This February

There was talk a few days back when a leak came out about a new “Far Cry” game, today Ubisoft confirmed the rumors, coming this winter is Far Cry 6. Players will be taken to the fictional island nation known as Yara and lead a group of guerillas in an uprising against the nation’s ferocious leader, Antón Castillo voiced by Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul, The Mandalorian). Players will take on the role of Dani Rojas, a character that players can be as being male or female, and be plunged into the jungles of Yara with the intent of united the island nation and overthrow Castillo and his regime. Far Cry 6 will be coming February 18, 2021, for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X, and Stadia.

‘Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla’ Gets Release Date

Ubisoft has announced today the release date for the latest installment of their popular historical fiction series, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. Along with the announcement come two new trailers showcasing what fans are in for when the game comes out November 17th. The trailers showcase new features for the playable character Eivor, who players can choose gender and customize hair, tattoos, war paint, weapons, and gear. Players will also be allowed to change Eivor’s gender at any time during gameplay. Players will also have to choose wisely as political alliances, combat decisions, and dialogue choices will affect the world of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. Along with showing new features comes something new to the “Assassin’s Creed” series, more violent ways to vanquish your enemies and send them screaming into Helheim! Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will be raiding your homes on November 17th, on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X, PC, and Stadia.

Valhalla Awaits Players In ‘Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’

Ubisoft has announced this morning the latest edition to the “Assassin’s Creed” saga will take players to the cold north seas of the 9th Century as they play through their own Viking saga that would dwarf other Viking epics in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Players will be taking on the role of Eivor, a Norwegian Viking raider leading their clan from war-torn Norway to the shores of England. The Vikings encounter the Saxons who wish to purge them from the lands. Eivor must not only lead their clan to new riches and lands to settle in, but they must also try to achieve their destiny and ensure their place in Valhalla, the Norse afterlife. Players can choose Eivor’s gender (as the name is unisex) and they can customize Eivor’s appearance such as hairstyle, war paint, and tattoos. Eivor can use a variety of weapons along with the famed hidden blade of the Assassin Order. Players can gain resources by leading raiding

Ubisoft is joining in the fight for Social Distancing by offering free games and demos for players to enjoy at home. In their latest leap of faith (pun intended) to keep fans home, PC players will be able to download and keep Assassin’s Creed II for FREE. From March 14th to the 19th Assassin’s Creed II will be available for download over at Ubisoft’s Play your part, Play at Home website where players can see other games and demos available to download. Assassin’s Creed II is the introduction to the franchise’s most popular Assassin character, Ezio, a young playboy in Renaissance Italy who becomes an Assassin on his path of vengeance after the death of his Father and Brothers.

The game follows a young man named Alex who woke up alone in his grandmother’s house and realizes that things are not right. The story calls back to survival horror games from the past and mixes it with escape room puzzles all the while facing the unknown. Elijah Wood’s SpectreVision Teams Up With Ubisoft Montreal For New Video Game

Elijah Wood, one of three partners of the film company SpectreVision known for its horror/thriller related films, has teamed up with gaming giant Ubisoft Montreal to bring a new first-person thriller game to fans this fall. Ubisoft Montreal (a branch of Ubisoft) has released some major titles over the years most notably the “Assassin’s Creed” series, the “Far Cry” series, and “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege”. The two companies are working on a new psychological thriller video game called “Transference”. Players are unwilling participants in an experiment by Dr. Raymond Hayes who took brain data from himself, his wife, and their son and programmed it into a corrupt digital simulation. Players will have to traverse the environments as they solve puzzles in order to unlock some secrets hidden in the minds of the Hayes family members.
