It has been nearly thirty years since ‘Twin Peaks’ aired, but the show still has plenty of die-hard fans. Many were over the moon when news came back in 2015 that Showtime would be reviving the spooky series. Last week, we reported a image that surfaced from the website Welcome to Twin Peaks of a calendar marking April 30th as the premiere date, but it turns out that information wasn’t true. Today, the official premiere date for season 3 was announced by Showtime as May 21st at 9pm. The new season will have 18 episodes, according to Deadline, filmed as one long movie then cut to fit the time slots. Some of the cast talk about the series in this video, check it out.
