Netflix announced the premiere date for season four of “Lucifer” earlier this month with a HOT new jaw-dropping teaser trailer featuring a shirtless Tom Ellis emerging from a pool in slow motion. Based on the comics by Neil Gaiman, the series stars Ellis as the oh so charming devil who has left hell and moved to LA where he has opened a night club. When he’s not partying Lucifer works with the police department solving crimes along with his partner Chloe Decker (Lauren German). Season three ended with a cliffhanger, Detective Chloe Decker (German) realizing that her partner is exactly who he has been claiming to be all along after seeing his true face for the first time. “Lucifer” Premiering On Netflix Later This Year

Fans of “Lucifer” (the show, not the entity) were heartbroken last year when they found out that Fox had axed the supernatural series. But thanks to their dedication and determination, Netflix payed attention and swooped in and saved the show from certain death. The question is, when will season 4 premiere? And we can answer that, sort of. The fourth season of “Lucifer” is set to premiere on the streaming giant this Spring. The exact day is still a mystery, but at least we have a time frame. Not only is the series based on the DC comic book character, but it is also a crime series where Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and his police partner (Lauren German) solve crimes, all why Lucifer lives a playboy life and runs his night club. Lucifer is not the only supernatural character on the series, there’s his brother Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) who is an angel and there’s Mazikeen (Lesley-Ann Brandt) a demon. Rachel Harris,

A Bad Day For The Devil – Fox Kills Two Great Shows

It’s been a bad day for the Devil, Fox killed not one, but two great horror series, “The Exorcist”, and “Lucifer”. Needless to say, fans are upset. After two wonderful seasons, the folks at Fox gave The Exorcist the ax. The show followed two priests (Ben Daniels, Alfonso Herrera) on a mission to exorcise the demons that plague a different family each season. Lucifer, the devil himself wasn’t immune to Fox’s reach. After three seasons the show is done, which is a shame. You can’t help but love Tom Ellis’s cheeky character. Hopefully, before the end of this season, we’ll find out if Lucifer gets the girl (Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German)), if D.B. Woodside’s Amenadiel will complete his mission, and if Mazikeen (Lesley-Ann Brandt) will find peace. Those aren’t the only two shows to get killed by Fox this week. “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and “The Last Man on Earth” were also canceled.
