New Details Emerge From ‘The Mist’

On Friday, during the Television Critics Association Press Tour, new details emerged about Spike TV’s series adaption of ‘The Mist’. Don’t expect to see reboot of the film or a strict adaption of Stephen King’s novel though. The series will be a “reimagination” with a ‘Fagro’ feel. Per TV Guide, Christian Torpe, the show’s executive producer, went on to explain: “Internally, we talk about it as doing the ‘Fargo’ approach, where the movie and the TV show is the same, but it’s different. The television adaption of Stephen King’s 1980 novella The Mist has now gotten the go-ahead. Straight-to-series orders have been given from Spike TV, according to Deadline.
