Eli Roth’s Sequel To The Green Inferno Still Alive

After a long delay, Eli Roth’s highly anticipated cannibal film The Green Inferno saw its DVD release in the U.S. back in January of this year. Before its original release date in 2013, Roth announced that Nicolas Lopez, friend and frequent collaborator, would be directing a sequel, Beyond the Green Inferno. News about the sequel has been nonexistent since, until now. It seems the film is still alive and in the works. The Wrap uncovered a little tidbit while writing a story about Roth producing a short film for his digital genre brand Crypt TV. Near the end of the write-up The Wrap stated “The writer-director-producer is currently in development on a sequel to his slacktivism slasher film The Green Inferno.” That gives us that we will indeed see a sequel at some point. As for who will be directing and if the title will remain Beyond the Green Inferno, we do not know at this time. The Green Inferno,

Clever Girl’s Top 5 Films of 2015

This year was a fantastic year for film! “Mad Max,” “Jurassic Park,” “Star Wars,” and “The Terminator” all appeared once again on the big screen. Horror fans had an opportunity to enjoy remakes such as “Poltergeist,” and see sequels to “Insidious” as well as “Paranormal Activity.” We had the conclusion to “The Hunger Games” and finally got to see the works of Guillermo del Toro with “Crimson Peak,” and the rebirth of the iconic horror-thriller director M. Night Shyamalan with “The Visit.” Did any these films make my favorite five list? Read on to find out! _________________________________________________ 5.) “Dinosaur 13” Being from Chicago, I’ve had the opportunity to visit the Field Museum regularly. For those who do not know, when you first step into the main hall you are greeted by “Sue,” the worlds most complete Tyrannosaurus Rex fossil. I had no idea that there was a story and a battle behind this impressive fossil. “Dinosaur 13” is an impressive

A review of Eli Roth’s The Green Inferno

Before I go into how much I love The Green Inferno, let me start by saying the first 20 – 30 minutes wasn’t great, mainly because our main character Justine (Lorenza Izzo) has an atrocious roommate Kaycee (Sky Ferreira), whose 1990’s grunge, forced, hipster dialogue was one of the most horrific things in this film. I realize that the films director, Eli Roth, was going for with this, but it is either some of the worst acting I have ever seen or the best, Ferreira deserves an Oscar! I have seen this film 3 times and still can not decide what side of the fence I am on. Now that the worst part of the film is out of the way, let’s get to the good stuff! I personally believe this is Roth’s best film! Shooting 4k (digital) along with the films soundtrack really helps bring the jungle to life and ultimately the fear that our characters feel. The First Red Band Clip From Eli Roth’s The Green Inferno Is Here !

The first Red Band clip from Eli Roth’s The Green Inferno is here and it is bloody and extremely intense. I will not deny it, by the end of the clip my jaw had dropped and a few profanities were said. The clip is already limited on YouTube to 18 and over and FaceBook has already taken down posts that play the actual video, only links are being allowed. The fact is, the clip is mild compared to the rest of the movie, so I hear. Fans have been waiting a long time for The Green Inferno and I know they won’t be disappointed. The Green Inferno will be in theaters on September 25th. If you are under 18 or can’t handle intense brutality, blood or gore please close this article now. That being said, enjoy the clip.
