Actress & Activist Rose McGowan Pens Letter To The Public Following Friend’s Suicide
Depression is something we don’t talk enough about. Too many people struggle in silence which leads to suicide. The statistics are terrifying. Every 30 seconds someone commits suicide, over 3,000 people a day. And for every one of those, 20 more attempt it. Twenty-two veterans a day take their own life every day due to depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Those numbers are mindblowing. We need to find a way to help. Actress turned activist and author Rose McGowan, who starred in the series “Charmed” and films like Planet Terror, Grindhouse, and The Sound, recently released a letter to the public following the heartbreaking suicide of Anthony Bourdain, star of the series “No Reservations” and “Parts Unkown”.
