‘Call Of Cthulhu’ Pre-Order Now On Sale

Focus Home Interactive is having a massive sale on many of their games for a limited time, October 16th – October 22nd. You can save upwards to 80% on some titles, I highly recommend “Vampyr” as its 50% off for this limited time! For us Lovecraft fans, the highly anticipated role-playing horror game “Call of Cthulhu: The official Video Game” is available for pre-order but for a limited time the price is down 10%, which in hindsight is some decent wiggle room. Don’t worry, the sale is also on for PS4 fans as well. “Call of Cthulhu: The official Video Game” takes players on a journey into madness as they play as a private detective named Edward Pierce who is investigating the mysterious deaths of the members of the Hawkins family and discovers something otherworldly and darker is at play. The game will be out October 30th on all gaming platforms.

Recently Chance6 Studios released their psychological horror game “COLINA: Legacy” on Steam. The game follows a young man named Alex who woke up alone in his grandmother’s house and realizes that things are not right. The story calls back to survival horror games from the past and mixes it with escape room puzzles all the while facing the unknown. One thing can make or break a good movie or video game, the soundtrack. When you want the best for your music you go to the best to get it done, this is where Hexany Audio comes in. You may not know the name but you most likely heard their work. Hexany Audio has done sound design, music composition, and voice-over recordings for companies like Disney, Google, Apple, SONY, Nike, Ubisoft, and Activision just to name a few! Ninja Theory Creates “Senua’s Scholarship” After Their Video Game Heroine

It’s no big secret; I love “Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice”, the dark fantasy video game by Ninja Theory struck a chord with many players as it deals with the sensitive subject of mental health, uniquely through the eyes of a young woman back in early human history during the time of Celts and Vikings. In order to make the symptoms of Senua’s psychosis authentic, Ninja Theory consulted with Mental Health experts as well as individuals who actually are going through treatment for the illness. Because of this delicate attention to detail, “Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice” to date has won 19 awards! Proceeds of the sale of the game went towards charities involving mental health but now Ninja Theory has taken it a step further, by creating a scholarship that will fund training for mental health tutors at the CPFT Recovery College East who played a big role in helping with research for the game, the scholarship is appropriately named “Senua’s Scholarship”. Rym Games is bringing a whole new level of terror to the Psychological Horror genre in gaming with “The Conjuring House” (no way related to the film series) that came out on September 25th. Enjoy Your Trip! Game Review Of ‘Elea’ For Xbox One

Not long ago I talked about the upcoming surreal sci-fi game “Elea”. The game’s developers, Kyodai and Sodesco were kind enough to allow me the chance to review the game early before its September 6th release. The game itself is an episodic adventure telling the story of Elea, who’s on a journey through space to find her husband who’s gone missing along with his crewmates on a mission to find a new planet to colonize and now his ship was found but is mysteriously going through a quarantine procedure. After completing the first chapter it should be noted that the story I’ve played will be updated on launch day with a different beginning since I don’t know exactly how much of a change there will be, I’ll forgo focusing too much on the narrative I encountered in my playthrough. The main thing that blew me away was the graphics! Nicely detailed and textured, the colors are amazing and fit well

‘State Of Mind’ Review: A Stunningly Beautiful Sci-Fi Thriller

Daedalic Entertainment gave me access to their newly released sci-fi thriller, “State of Mind” that is out now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game takes place in Berlin where the year is 2045 and Earth’s health is declining. Technology is changing people’s lives for better and worse resulting in the rise of a terrorist group known as Breakpoint who are against the latest in technological advancements, especially with humanity’s reliance on drone, and robotic tech. The story of “State of Mind” is seen through the eyes of people from two dramatically different ends of the social spectrum, those who live in Berlin and those who live in the utopian city known as City 5. The first thing that stood out for me is the visual style of the game, for being low-poly, it’s beautiful! The scenery is absolutely stunning and visually appealing, reminding me of “Blade Runner” and the overall tone also reminding me of
