Dive Into A Movie Marathon With These 10 Great Shark Films

When summer arrives and the temperature begins to rise one of the first things that comes to mind is the beach, the cool water of the ocean and fun in the sun. But movies like The Shallows and Jaws capture the fear that comes with not knowing what lurks below the surface and just how fierce and relentless sharks can be. What better way to celebrate the summer than to dive into a marathon of shark movies. There are hundreds of shark movies out there, however, most are cheesy and ridiculous. This list does not include those. Here are a few of our favorite serious movies starring sharks. Jaws (1975) When a giant great white begins to attack people in the waters of a small island community, the police chief, a marine biologist and a grizzled fisherman set out to hunt it down.
