A Possible Sequel In Store For ‘Behind The Mask: The Rise Of Leslie Vernon’

It has been 10 years since we met a new horror icon in ‘Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon’. The film developed quite a following. Back in 2012 director Scott Glosserman attempted to crowd fund a sequel with a script by David Stieve, who also penned the first film, but the film just didn’t come together. It seemed that we had seen the last of Leslie Vernon. After several years of silence the official Facebook page for the film, sprang back to life with a mysterious post: “It’s about time to dust this old thing off…2017 seems like a good year.” Soon Nathan Baesal, the actor who played Leslie Vernon, shared the post with a message of his own: “Maybe something good will come out of 2017 yet.” While there is no official news about a sequel, it does at least sound like something is in the works. Netflix’s Mysterious New Series The OA Premieres This Week – Watch The Trailer

Monday, Netflix tweeted a series of strange tweets, “Have you seen death?”, “Have you seen darkness”, and last “Have you seen the light?”. Spooky right? The tweets are part of a social media campaign for their new series ‘The OA’. The newly opened Instagram account has been posting images from the series that leaves its followers with more questions than answers. The trailer has just arrived and it’s pretty creepy, in a good way. It gives off a ‘Stranger Things’ vibe and seems to have a other-worldly aspect. The eight episode series centers on Prairie Jackson (Marling), a woman who reappears seven years after she mysteriously disappeared. Much of the plot is being kept quiet, adding to the 8-episode original series’ myster Zai Batmanglij was in the directors chair for ‘The OA’, which he co-wrote with Brit Marling. Marling (The East) also co-stars in the series along with Ian Alexander, Will Brill (The Eyes of My Mother), Emory Cohen (The

The Omen Spin-off Series “Damien” Is Out Now

The premiere of A&E’s “Damien” is now only days away (March 7). A&E has now released a new addition to the long list of teasers, titled “Beast.” The teaser is a mix of footage from the new series and The Omen. The series follows Damien Thorn, the child from the 1976 horror classic The Omen, as an adult. Damien is about to have his life turned upside-down as he learns who he is: the anti-Christ. Bradley James (iZombie) will star as Damien. Omid Abtahi (Argo) co-stars along with Megalyn Echikunwoke (The Following), David Meunier (Aquarius), Scott Wilson (The Walking Dead), and Barbara Hershey, who played the role of Lorraine Lambert in Insidious: Chapter 2. I have to admit, when I first learned about the series back last year, I was a little skeptical. But now, I’m intrigued. The trailers look great, and the show has a fantastic cast. I’m not sure how long of a run Damien will have, I
