Premiere Date Revealed For Netflix’s “Unsolved Mysteries”

One of the most iconic series of my childhood was “Unsolved Mysteries.” Each week I couldn’t wait to plop down in front of the TV for the Robert Stack hosted show to examine unsolved mysteries, missing person cases, murders, ghosts, UFOs, and more. A few weeks backed weeks back we reported that the series is getting a reboot from Netflix. Today, we can report that we’ve learned that the premiere date is set for July 1st. The series, executive produced by “Stranger Thing’s” Shawn Levy, will be a bit different than the hit show that debuted in January of 1987. Firstly, there will be no host. Another difference is that each episode will only focus on one subject, unlike the original. This time around, the series is documentary style. Be sure to tune for the premiere of “Unsolved Mysteries” on Netflix on July 1, 2020. If you would like to rewatch or watch the original series for the first time

The Creators Of Unsolved Mysteries Want To Bring The Show Back To Life

A generation of kids found real scares every week when they tuned in to Unsolved Mysteries. In my head I can still hear Robert Stack saying “Perhaps you can help solve a mystery.” The segments of re-enactments of unsolved crimes, paranormal activity, and alien encounters left viewers looking over their shoulders. Unfortunately, the show has not aired a new episode since 2010, but that might be changing. During a recent Reddit Q&A, the series creators, Terry Dunn Meurer and John Cosgrove, revealed that they are in the process of setting up meetings in an attempt to revive the series, SyfyWire reports. We too would very much like to see new Unsolved Mysteries shows on the air. We are in the process of reaching out to networks to see if there is interest in ordering new shows. Let’s keep our fingers crossed! We are always trying to find a network, channel, or streaming service that would like to show new episodes.”

Unsolved Mysteries Coming To Streaming And Digital HD Platforms

Few things spooked me as a kid like the true tales of murder and mystery on ‘Unsolved Mysteries’, hosted by Robert Stack. The stories features on ‘Unsolved Mysteries’ were very real, making the series much more terrifying than any horror film I came across. They explored cold cases, unsolved crimes, murders, missing persons, criminals on the run, and reports of paranormal activity. FilmRise has acquired the worldwide rights to the show. The series is finally headed to Digital HD and streaming platforms, as early as this month. We’re pleased to be releasing this celebrated series to a large audience of fans both old and new,” The CEO of FlimRise, Danny Fisher stated. “Unsolved Mysteries is an American tradition that FilmRise is excited to preserve.” One of the reasons that I find ‘Unsolved Mysteries’ so frightening is that one of the cases on the series hit close home. In fact, it made the local news. When I was younger, the series
