PTSD Turns Out To Be Possession In ‘The Refuge’ From ‘Die Hard 2’ Director

Renny Harlin is set to direct the new military-themed horror film The Refuge, by sci-fi, action writer Ben Sztajnkrycer, Deadline reports. The movie centers on “Sergeant Rick Pedroni, who comes home to his wife Kate changed and dangerous after suffering an attack by a mysterious force during combat in Afghanistan. Officials say her husband suffered a heavy brain injury, but Kate knows it is more than PTSD. As Rick undergoes unsettling therapy with other traumatized soldiers, Kate discovers he has been possessed by a malevolent spirit.” Yariv Lerner, Rob Van Norden, Gary Lucchesi, Michael McKay, and Harlin are producing the movie which is a Revelations Entertainment and B2Y production. Highland Film Group’s Delphine Perrier and Arianne Fraser are Executive Producing alongside Revelations Entertainment’s Kelly Mendelsohn. I love making horror films because of the visual opportunities and character studies they offer. The Refuge is a terrifying journey into the deepest corners of the human spirit. It’s not just a regular horror

Movie Review: Ghosts Of War (2020)

The moment I saw the trailer for writer-director Eric Bress’ Ghosts of War I knew that I HAD to see it. Not only is it a horror movie, but it’s also a war movie, two things I’m a sucker for. Are you tired of the same old overly hyped horror movie that promises to be “one of the best movies of the year” only to be a total let a down? Well, that’s not the case with Ghosts of War. It actually is that good. Ghosts of War opens with a haunting quote. This war will not end. With every mile my body and spirit break. Every jolt makes brittle my mind. Each step pulls me further from homeuntil I am the shell of the man that kissed my mother goodbye a forever ago. And I tense endlessly. Not knowing which will arrive first, the bullet that takes my life or my final chance for redemption. – Private First Class

Teaser Poster And Prequel Novel For ‘The Predator’

The upcoming fourth installment of the Predator franchise has fans excited with the promise that it will be gory like the first two classics and now with the teaser poster fans are even more excited…yes me included, I mean, look at it! The poster has been seen in IMAX theaters and gives the same electrifying feeling that reminds fans of the one scene from Predator 2 when the Predator stands on top of a skyscraper in LA during a thunderstorm triumphantly roaring as it’s struck by lightning and not even phased by it. For added hype for fans, a book said to be the prequel to the movie will be hitting shelves on June 5th. The book, The Predator: Hunters and Hunted will be released by Titan Books and will be written by James A. Moore. The book will be setting up the events leading to the upcoming film. Jake Busey who was one of the last to be cast
