From The Producer Of ‘The Exorcism Of Emily Rose’ Comes ‘The Prodigy’

In her much-anticipated debut into the horror-thriller genre, Taylor Schilling stars in The Prodigy as Sarah, a mother whose young son Miles’ disturbing behavior signals that an evil, possibly supernatural force has overtaken him. Fearing for her family’s safety, Sarah must grapple with her maternal instinct to love and protect Miles in favor of investigating what – or who – is causing his dark turn. She is forced to look for answers in the past, taking the audience on a wild ride; one where the line between perception and reality remains blurry. Directed by Nicholas McCarthy, The Prodigy also stars Jackson Robert Scott, Peter Mooney, and Colm Feore. Tripp Vinson produced. The Prodigy is set to be released on February 8, 2019, by Orion Pictures. Follow the film on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

As their session begins, the young girl dissects Dr. Fonda’s unconventional methods, revealing her genius-level intellect. Only by challenging her to a battle of wits does Fonda begin to unravel the supernatural mystery surrounding Ellie — a deadly secret that threatens to destroy them both.” Prodigy wrapped an eventful festival run last year, accepting invites to nine festivals, including trips to Cinequest, Fantaspoa (Brazil) and Santa Cruz — where the film took home Best Narrative Feature honors. The film carried that success into its digital release, drawing a broad audience on Amazon, and maintaining a fresh Rotten Tomatoes score. Written and directed by Alex Haughey and Brian Vidal, the film stars Richard Neil

Prodigy’s Richard Neil Talks Acting & Supernatural Powers In An Interview

Richard Neil, best known for his work as Aratak in the best-selling video game ‘Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds’ and for such films and TV series as “Veronica Mars” and “Eli Stone”, stars in the upcoming supernatural thriller Prodigy, a film about a psychologist who engages a dangerous, young genius in a battle of wits — unaware of the supernatural power the girl possesses, or that her life hangs in the balance. Neil was kind enough to take us inside Prodigy and answer a few of my questions about both the film and his career. Horror Fuel: “: How did your work in theater prepare you for your acting career?” Richard Neil: “Well, for me, it’s getting over yourself, and trying to conquer one’s nerves. Relaxation and staying present really is the secret. Being “in the moment” as they say, not anticipating what is to come. Even though you’ve rehearsed it a thousand times, doing whatever it takes to
