Movie Review: ‘Dead Again’ – Now Out On Amazon Prime

Dead Again…where to start? When I sat down to watch writer-director Steven M. Smith’s zombie/alien movie Dead Again I had high hopes, after all, the trailer looked decent. I mean the movie is being described as “Hot Fuzz meets Shaun of the Dead,” so it has to be good, right? My high hopes lasted all of five minutes. As we meet our main characters, two cops played by Tony Fadil and Elliot Cable, they are having a conversation about movies. Soon they get a call about intruders at a closed hospital where they find a couple noising around. It’s not long before the place is swarmed by zombies or are they, zombies? Zombie/aliens, zomiens? You see, aliens are attacking the world. The film is supposed to be funny? Campy? Hell, I don’t know. Instead what we get are lines and scenes that aren’t funny enough to be funny or campy enough to be campy. Dead Again‘s cinematography is a mixed

John Wick Writer Adapting Japanese Manga ‘Hellsing’ For A Feature Film

When it comes to action-packed films John Wick is at the top of the list. The writer behind the pulse-pounding franchise, Derek Kolstad, is now gearing up to bring us another film that will keep us on the edge of our seats, the live-action film adaptation of the Japanese action-horror manga Hellsing for Amazon Studios, Deadline reports. Ever since my brother introduced me to the Hellsing manga and anime some years ago, I’ve been obsessed with adapting it,” Kolstad said in a statement. “Hellsing reimagines Dracula as Alucard, a special agent bound to The Hellsing Organization, under the leadership of Integra Hellsing, great-granddaughter of Abraham Van Hellsing, to aid them in their mission to protect England and the world from vampires, ghouls, and other supernatural threats. The manga also focuses on Hellsing’s newest recruit, a female ex-police officer named Seras Victoria.” I’ve always loved the vampire genre, especially when a creator is able to put their own unique spin on
