Eugene Meets Hitler On This Week’s Episode Of ‘Preacher’

Season 2 of AMC’s Preacher is underway, between angels, the Saint of Killers, thugs and pure chaos, it’s insane (in a very good way). While on a mission to find God, Jesse (Dominic Cooper), Tulip (Ruth Negga), and Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) have been through three episodes, several towns and had several close calls. One thing has been weighing heavily on Jesse’s mind, Eugene (Ian Colletti) who he sent to Hell in season one. In the last episode we learned more about the back story of Eugene (aka Arseface). The comic has Eugene trying to end his life out of depression, but in the series, Eugene was put in a bad situation and instead successfully killed himself. Either way he ended up looking like a dog’s rear-end. Now, he’s stuck in Hell reliving that horrible day over and over. In episode 4 we will find Eugene in Hell and you won’t believe who lives a few cells down, Hitler. Game of

AMC’s Preacher Is Badass – A Review Of Episode 1

AMC’s new series Preacher, from Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg, premiered this past Sunday. Based on the graphic novel of the same name by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillion, Preacher follows Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), an unconventional preacher from a small Texas town, who was pushed into his profession by his effing insane family. Jesse, after being possessed by Genesis, an entity that is half angel and half demon, develops an interesting power, what he commands you must do. He sets out to find God, accompanied by his ex girlfriend Tulip O’Hare (Ruth Negga) and an Irish vampire named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun). In the world of Preacher Jesse, Tulip and Cassidy will encounter regular people, and characters from Heaven, Hell, and everywhere in between. The premiere began with a entity rocketing through space and colliding with a priest in Africa. The possessed priest commands his flock to be quiet, just before he explodes. The next scene is Jessie preparing for

AMC Orders Season One Of ‘Preacher’

Since I first heard that AMC had ordered the pilot for ‘Preacher‘, the adaption of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s fantastic comic book by the same name, I’ve wondered how AMC would get around some of the controversial content. The biggest concern is the comic’s not so pleasant references to God. I guess they are willing to deal with any drama from fans or groups because AMC has gone ahead and ordered the first season of ‘Preacher’, consisting of ten episodes. The series is set to premier in mid 2016. For those who are not familiar with the comics, let me explain. ‘Preacher’ follows Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), a preacher from a small Texas town, who was pushed into preaching by his effing insane family. Jesse, after being possessed by Genesis, sets out to find God. He is accompanied by his ex girlfriend Tulip O’Hare (Ruth Negga) and Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun), a vampire. What We Know About AMC’s New Series ‘Preacher’

Graphic Novel co-creator Garth Ennis will be working along side Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg on the script for the pilot of AMC’s tv adaption of the graphic novel ‘Preacher’. The guys at ‘Bleeding Cool’ have pulled a ballsy move by sharing sections from the script and script meetings via Twitter. Some fans are overjoyed with the script, others feel it may stray too far from the graphic novels created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillion . The ’90s comic book series ‘Preacher’ tells the story of a preacher in a small Texas town who mergers with an entity that has escaped heaven. He has the ability to make anyone do what he commands. Jesse Custer “the preacher” , Tulip O’Hare and Cassidy,a vampire, team up and go on a journey to find God. The series is hailed as a favorite by many comic book fans. AMC has shown dark shows before, such as The Walking Dead, but fans of
