Blumhouse And Maniac Productions Acquire The Rights To The Real Life Battersea Poltergeist Story

In an ultra-competitive bidding situation, Blumhouse Television and Michael Seitzman’s Maniac Productions have secured the rights to BBC Radio 4’s “The Battersea Poltergeist” podcast and will be developing into two series, one being titled “Blumhouse’s Ghost Story” that explores the haunting of the Battersea poltergeist and Shirley Hitchings’ experience, that remains the longest paranormal investigation in history. They have also secured the rights to Hitchings’ life story, as well as the rights to her and James Clark’s book, The Poltergeist Prince of London: The Remarkable True Story of the Battersea Poltergeist. During the twelve-year-long investigation into the haunting activities, it was said that strange noises plagued the family, items flew around the room, a poltergeist spoke through letters found around the home or by scrawling messages on walls, and fires started out of thin air. Paranormal experts gathered to find answers and perform exorcisms (pictured below). The family’s young daughter, Shirley, quickly became the focus of the entities. The wildly

Marvel Duo Remaking Poltergeist

Hollywood’s obsession with remakes has struck again. Another remake of Steven Spielberg and Tobe Hooper’s supernatural horror classic Poltergeist is headed our way. This go around it’s from Marvel’s Joe and Anthony Russo who has been given the go-ahead to do what they will with MGM’s library. Deadline is reporting that the remake will be developed, produced, and financed by the filmmakers who have delivered some of Marvel’s best films including Captain America: Civil War, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Infinity War, and this summer’s Avengers: Endgame. This isn’t the first time someone has remade Poltergeist. Back in 2015, a new version came from director Gil Kenan and was met with mixed reviews. In that version, a family whose suburban home is haunted by evil forces must come together to rescue their youngest daughter after the apparitions take her captive. While there is no word about the remake’s cast, we have our fingers crossed that some of the Avengers

Can You Guess My Name?

I have been doing a number of articles on fairy tales. I think that the Grimm Brothers especially are phenomenal story tellers and the two of the originators of the horror genre. Their characters range from witches and anamorphic animals to princes and queens. In my opinion, however, one of their best characters is a little imp who appears when people are desperate and willing to make a trades of various value. This imp is called a manikin in the tale which is basically just an excessively small person with no other noticeable defects. Nevertheless, many interpretations of this character have him as anything from a slightly deformed person to an outright troll. If you haven’t guessed his name by now, you aren’t alone. In fact, that’s kind of an integral part of the story. Rumpelstiltskin is an iconic character and an extremely unheralded villain. The creature’s name itself may be why he is visualized as a troll of goblin.

Do you believe in curses? The cast and crew of ‘Poltergeist’ do. Some of you will remember hearing the rumors that the people and set of the 1982 supernatural hit ‘Poltergeist’ were cursed. The cast and staff suffered many unexplained events, accidents and the early deaths of several people tied to the film. Now the people involved with the ‘Poltergeist’ reboot are beginning to share stories of the unexplained. Could the curse of the ‘Poltergeist’ have spread? First let’s take a look at the events that happened to the cast and crew of the original film. We will start with the premature deaths of the cast members. Heather O’Rurke, who played Carol Ann, the focus of the supernatural activity in the movie, died at 12 ,not long after the film was finished. Dominique Dunne, who played Carol Ann’s older sister Dana also passed away shortly after wrapping at the age of 22. There is a long list of events including
