‘House of Ashes’ And Sumerian Mythology

Fans of the Dark Pictures Anthology games were treated to a post-credits trailer at the end of Little Hope for the upcoming third installment titled House of Ashes featuring Ashley Tisdal (High School Musical). The game will take players to the Middle East wherein the trailer Tisdal’s character is seen lost in a cave with only a torch lighting her way and hearing something scurrying behind her as she passes a large statue of Pazuzu that many will recognized from the “Exorcist” films. The games Man of Medan, and Little Hope draw from real-world events and tales. Man of Medan took inspiration from a tale from WWII about a ghost ship called the SS Ourang Medan that was lost near Indonesia, all crew on board died mysteriously, to date the tale of the Ourang Medan can’t be confirmed as no ship by that name ever existed and no wreck of it was ever found. Woman (In Horror) Crush Wednesday: Eileen Dietz

Sometimes when it comes to getting credit where credit is due, a person is left out in the cold without said deserved recognition. Frankly, my Little Monsters, that doesn’t sit well with me. And it’s something that today’s wonderful Woman of Horror had to experience in relation to what can be considered to be arguably her most famous cinematic contribution, but we’ll get into that momentarily. Eileen Dietz was born in Bayside, New York, and is one of three daughters in her family. She is one of a pair of identical twins, so when it comes down to which of the two is the oldest it’s most likely negligible, as they were likely born within mere minutes of one another. Eileen got into the business VERY early as she and her twin sister Marianne appeared in a soap commercial when they were only six weeks old. Of the two, Eileen was the one who continued on with acting and at

Eileen Dietz to Attend LAKE ALICE World Premiere

On January 22nd of 2017, the indie horror film Lake Alice will have it’s World Premiere at The Indie Lounge in Park City, UT. Although this premier is taking place during the Sundance Film Festival, it is NOT a part of the festival’s features lineup. Among the attendees at the invitation only premier will be featured actress Eileen Dietz, who plays the role of Jane Patterson in the film. Dietz has a career that spans over 50 years, during which she has been involved in numerous award winning projects. Dietz made quite possibly her most iconic on screen appearance in the film adaptation of William Peter Blatty’s novel, The Exorcist. However, she was not credited for her contribution as the face of the demon known as Pazuzu. She also doubled for Linda Blair in some scenes, for which she was also uncredited. The most famous of these scenes is the one in which Regan spews vile green vomit on Father
